Ch.4 Dreams, and ???

Chase pov: Everest did end up staying with Marshall tonight. They do look nice togeather I wonder if they will make the announcement. Well if there a thing. Welp it's time for me to do a lap around the lookout to make sure all the pups are okay.

First was Marshall's pup house. As I walked up to his pup house I saw him and Everest snuggled up together. They looked cute together.

Second Rubble's pup house. As I walked up to his pup house I noticed that he had fallen asleep with his face in a bag of treats. I had to hold in my laughing as to not wake him up.

Third was Rocky's pup house. As I got to his pup house I noticed that he had fallen asleep working on some type of controller? Wonder what that gose to.

Forth was Zuma's pup house. As i got to his pup house. I had just looked in as he had fallen out of his bed. He had woke up after hitting the cold ground of his pup house, and I rushed to him to ask him if he was okay.

Zuma: Yawn. Yeah I'm fine thanks.

Chase: Okay good night.

Zuma: Yawn. Good night.

The fith and last pup house is Skye's. She was curled up into a ball. Something was wrong though. She was whimpering and kicking her legs like she was running from someone. That was when it hit me that she was havinv a nightmare. I decided to sit there untill it was over.

Skye's dream: I was running as fast as my little legs could take me. I was being chased by a mountain lion. I could tell it was a male my the sound of its voice.

Mountain lion: Come here little puppy puppy. I just want to play with you.

He could not fool me I was to smart for his dirty tricks he wants to make an easy snack out of me but I won't let him.

Skye: No you don't you want to eat me. I shouted back.

Mountain lion: Well well a smart one we have here nothing less you cant escape me for you are to slow.

At this point he was toying with me. He was right behind me and right before he had jumped on me I had kicked some dirt backwards into his eye's. He let out a slight groan as he rubbed his eye's. I took this opportunity to run into a cave hopping he did not see me come in. I was wrong just as I turned around he was right there. Then he pounced.

Chase pov: As I was sitting there all of a sudden Skye had jump up panting.

Chase: Skye are you okay?

Skye: Ahh! You scared me. Why are you outside of my pup house watching me?

Chase: Um-uh, I was, you where having what look like a nightmare and I did not want to leave you here alone. So again are you okay?

Skye: Yeah I had a nightmare that I was being chased by a mountain lion then I had ran into a cave and he got me.

Just as she had said that last part the hairs on her back went straight up. I could tell it was an unpleasant dream, and the thought of Skye not being here made me feel upset and empty.

Skye: Are you okay Chase?

Chase: Yeah it is just the thought of you not being here makes me feel sad.

Skye: Ohh sorry did not mean to make you feel upset.

Chase: No no no its not your fault, and so you know. As long as I'm around I would never let anything like that happen to you.

Skye: aww that's sweet of you.

As I was blushing I had asked her if she would like to sleep in my pup house for the night so if she had another nightmare. She had happily said yes and we had walked back to my pup house.
