The volleyball practice was over and almost everyone left the gym while chatting with each other.

"That jump you did there was really cool, Hinata!" a loud and cheery voice praised the tangerine. "Hehe..Thank you,Noya-san!" He thanked the complementor as he replies back with a grin. "Shoyo-chan!" a high pitch voice tickled the tangerine's ear as he turned his head to owner of the voice.

It was (Y/N) (L/N), a 1st grade student and in the same section as the male lead in this story who is called, 'Hinata Shoyo'. They are one of the closest bestfriends in their class and were often called as 'lovers' due to the fact they show affection towards eact other but to them it's not in a romantic way. Just their typical classmates shipping them.

"(N/N)-chan!" He squeeled back at the figure running through towards him. "I saw you practice today! You looked so awesome!" your bubbly voice intrigued the tangerine more. "Thank you so much! I'm glad you saw me!" Both of their hands clasped together and get intertwined to each other.

Both of them almost looked like two toddlers longing to play with each other. "Pft- they say they're not couples. Are they blind? Just look at them, they nearly share a brain." A student with blonde hair and a smirk plastered on his face with his black glasses. "Heheh, yeah." another student chuckled along with his friend.

"But that hot-headed douche bag was so mean to you! He ruined the mood!" You scowled while glaring at the irritated student who just acted like you didn't name called him. "L-let's not upset him, heheh~ I wouldn't want you to be hit by him." he snickered.

But unfortunately the student he was referring to overheard him and approached him. Dark shadow loomed around his face until only his eyes were visible. "Do you want to be hit, boke?" His anger made him slurred over his words.

But you hit him first on his chest but it seems that it didn't even make him flinch. "That's enough, hot head. I don't like you hitting Shoyo-chan." You grumbled. "God, if you were that idiot you call best friend. I would've pulverized you." he clenched his fist and left the duo.

"You look so cool, (N/N)-chan!" Hinata giggled as embracing you tight from the back.

"Oh! I almost forgot! Do you have your valentine's chocolate for tomorrow?" You looked at him at the corner of your eye because he was still embracing you from the back. "Hm...nope not yet. Wanna bake one together?" He looked at you not knowing that his teammates giggling at how close you two were from a distance.

"Mhm, sure! Let's do it at your house? Mom is using the kitchen for her guests today." Hinata finally let go of you and gripped your hand. "Okay, let's go!"

You both ran away from the school and headed towards Hinata's house by riding bikes.

"Look at them go. I really envy their friendship. They both so cute together~" one of their teammates giggled and continued to interact with the other teammates.
