In the aftermath of the fight between Legoshi and Banzai, Tongoza is angered by Sumu's assassination attempt on Scar. "That was reckless of you to attack Scar in front of a crowd like that," he scolded the scorpion. "If the stream was still live when you protected me, the Grand Reset would have gone down in flames." "Forgive me, Lord Tongoza," Sumu apologized while he bowed before his superior for his carelessness. "Still, you have protected me from getting devoured a second time," Tongoza told his servant in a thankful tone. "And we've eliminated one of the Grand Reset's greatest threats." Tongoza pulls a jagged dagger out of a vial filled with Sumu's venom. "That leaves only five entities to deal with before the Reset begins. Care to name them for me Ushari?" "We still have to find a way to deal with the Black Devil Yahya, along with Oguma, his son's Drama Club, along with Pride City's Beastar and his heir." "Mufasa and Simba," Tongoza said as he returns the dagger to the venom-filled vial it was stored in. "But there's still a hindrance regarding my former master and the Shishigumi. It also seems like the bickering politicians of this city's government have started to outlive their usefulness. I should at least give them a farewell gift before the Grand Reset begins."
The next morning, Legoshi awakens to Gouhin checking up on his friends while he, Simba, and the rest of the Drama Club were sleeping. As he opens his eyes, he witnesses the panda performing a check-up on Jack while the Shishigumi were swimming in the pool on the lower floor with several lionesses. "Morning kid," Gouhin greeted the awakening wolf. "How are you feeling? I bet being forced to fight last night made you feel like crap." "I guess it did," Legoshi admitted his feelings about the previous night with Gouhin. "But who are you exactly?" "That's Gouhin," Riz introduced Legoshi to the panda performing a check-up on him. "He's the doctor that recommended the new medicine I took the night of Sabrina's predation."
As Gouhin continues his check-up on Legoshi, Bingwa told Hodari, Mufasa, Yahya, Kifahari, and General Mikado within the hidden bunker's command center, "My father's poisoning has demonstrated the true intentions of Tongoza. That means he's marked all of my new friends from Cherryton as well as my cousin for death. My greatest fears are the main reason that I propose to use clones of them as decoys while I evacuate them and hide them inside of this bunker." "What you're proposing is to utilize a psychological operation against our enemy," Mufasa told his nephew. "In normal circumstances, I would not condone utilizing such a ploy, but knowing his intentions on performing a coup we may not have a choice in the matter." "What kind of cover-up is he planning once your friends and I have been dealt with?" Yahya asked the liolf. "It's simple," Bingwa explained to the group. "He'll place the blame for your deaths on a heavily contagious virus known as the Thanatos Virus, or THANOS-19."
"That means we need to prepare for war on multiple fronts," Kifahari said while contemplating the intel provided by Bingwa. "And we only have about two weeks to defeat him." "This war will inflict suffering upon the globe despite our resistance," Bingwa told the group. "That's why I've already put your proposal into motion while you were sleeping," General Mikado told Bingwa which causes the liolf's ears to perk up. "Gouhin's bringing Simba and my boys to this bunker. Tongoza isn't aware of his presence so he'll replace them with the clones with the same memories up until last night." "If Tongoza's serious about assassinating the Shishigumi's chief lion," Bingwa said as he walks towards the exit of the command center. "Then I need to hurry and stop him." He runs out of the command center and into the tram connecting the bunker to the Rose District.
While Bingwa's tram speeds towards the Rose District stop, a young lioness angrily told Tayama through a cellphone, "You never wanted to be a part of my life ever since my mother had me. You always presented yourself as a tyrant who craves meat, so why are you choosing to be a father to me now?" "Because I was blinded by lies ever since I joined the Shishigumi," he replied to his daughter. "It took witnessing dying carnivores and herbivores burning in the wreckage with my own eyes and a meeting with this city's Beastar to discover the error of my ways." "Don't give me that remorseful excuse when you have been nothing but a cruel despot your entire life!" the lioness yelled at her father. "Amiya..." "We share blood," Amiya interrupts her father. "I am not your daughter." Before Tayama could say anything, Amiya hangs up on him as Bingwa opens the door to his hotel room.
