(A/N) Hey guys! Definitely did not expect to become a fanfic author, let alone a Childe one, but there's a first for everything. Just want to put a disclaimer that this story will have lots of smut, along with some BDSM (yay!) so expect to see some craaazy stuff going on. Also there's going to be a lot of degrading words and minor violence as well, so if you think this is gonna be vanilla, well this just isn't it. Also there are some spoilers that are from the Archon quest. I hope you guys enjoy, please shoot me a message if you want me to mention anything, or leave a comment and let me know your thoughts! :)

Fuck.

You found yourself covered in the blood of the men you'd slain. The men, who were Fatui, were  criminals who have been terrorizing the surrounding lands of Liyue and have been working under their leader, the Tsaritsa. It was rather exhausting having to kill all of them, but you found it fun, being able to exert your dominance and show them how powerful you are.

And now, they've just ruined your favorite dress.

"Well damn." You said to yourself. "I guess I'll have to go get this cleaned."

So you went on your way back to Liyue, and into your apartment to quickly grab some clothes to change into before heading to the cleaners. Hopefully, you'll be able to find someone who could quickly get these nasty stains off your dress. It was starting to smell like pennies.

Thankfully, one of the old ladies at the market specialized in cleaning clothes. You asked her if she was able to take the stains off, and she said she could have it done by tomorrow. But, not without paying a hefty price.

"50,000 MORA???" You gasped. "Why do I need to pay that much money?"

"Well, as you can see this dress is made from the finest materials. Silk, linen, wool. It would be rather difficult to have to take the stains off, and on top of that I would have to steam it too. So, it's a reasonable price."

You sighed, and checked your wallet.

Only to find out you had only 2000 Mora.

Ugh, I shouldn't have bought all those fried Radish balls. Now what am I going to do.

Before you could finish collecting your thoughts, you heard a familiar voice.

"Is that you......(y/n)?"

You turned around, only to find Childe looking at you with a smug look on his face. His ginger bangs perfectly framed his face, and those eyes. Piercing blue, as if he could see right through you. Of course, he was wearing his usual outfit, a red scarf with a tunic that showed part of his defined abs. Oh, the things you would do to him. If only you could just tie him up right there, make him beg for you like a dog and just.......

Hello???? Snap out it!

You snapped. "Oh, it's you Childe."

"What, you're not happy to see me?" He chuckled. "You'd think after what happened you would be rather grateful I was alive. I thought we had something going on."

Right, this man was the reason why the Jade Chamber got destroyed. Why you had to fight that dreadful monster in the sea alongside the adepti. Just thinking about it gave you a headache. And to think this ginger had caused all of that...

"Honestly, if I could I would kill you right here. But, I'm actually not a crazy person, unlike you. So get lost."

"Aww" He whined "And to think I was going to help you pay for your dress too.."

Right. You had forgotten this man was loaded with money. If only you were nicer to him earlier. Maybe your attitude needed to get checked once in a while.

"I'm sorry." You said. "I've just been having a rough day. I didn't mean what I said. Actually, I'm rather happy to see you. I was worried."

Yes, because even though this man was part of the Fatui, you couldn't help but feel sadness after he had left you there in the Golden House. You actually did taking a liking to him, despite the fact that he was a criminal. But somehow fate led you two right back to each other.

"That's what I like to hear." He smirked. "Fine, I guess I'll pay for it then. 50,000 Mora, just for you."

Thanks sexy. You thought to yourself.

After he paid for your dress, you both decided to have dinner at Liuli Pavillon to catch up. You couldn't help but wonder what Childe had been up to all this time, and whether he'd meant anyone yet. Not that you were jealous or anything, just curious, of course.

So you both sat down across from each other. In silence. Until Childe spoke up.

"So.....how have you been?" He said, while resting his head on his hand.

"Well, despite having to constantly fight the Fatui and do bounties, I guess I've been pretty okay."

"Oh?" He said "So you're the one my boss keeps complaining about."

"Yup, that's me."

You continued to sit in silence. Yet, you couldn't help but wonder what he's been doing all this time. So you spoke up.

"Can I ask you something?"

Childe looked at you with a confused expression. "Sure, go for it." He said.

"Where exactly did you go?"

He laughed. "And to think you really didn't miss me. Well, to let you know, I've just been in Liyue this whole time. Staying undercover, controlling the Fatui, making transactions. But to you, it's as if I was never there."

"Yeah, you had me fooled..."

"Why the long face? Did you really miss me that much?" He smirked. "You know, the whole time I was gone, all I could think about was you. You've been on my mind ever since the first day I met you. Do you remember that?"

You smiled. "Of course I do, you saved me from those annoying guards, right when I thought I had gotten cornered."

He laughed. "You should've seen your face! It was fun playing hero for the day. But if I'm being honest, I'd rather be the villain." He said, looking you with an intriguing expression. "You know, it's been a long time since we've......"

CRASH!

You both turned around to see the waitress, who had fallen on the floor, along with all of your food. She had accidentally slipped and dropped everything. It was a sight to see.

"I am so so sorry. Please forgive me! I'll make sure everything is cleaned up and new dishes will be served!"

You laughed to yourself. That was definitely a moment saver.

As you both walked out after finishing your food, Childe offered you to walk you home. You said yes, since you enjoyed having his company. You both walked together, closely, so close that you could smell his cologne. It brought you all back to that night. When you both had gotten drunk at the bar, and he had to carry you home. Of course, the night didn't just end there. You were both so intoxicated and so in love, that you had the best night of your life. It was unforgettable.

"We're here." He said.

"Oh, right. Thank you, Childe." you smiled.

You stared at each other, in silence.

Little did you both know, about what was going to happen later that night.
