Y/n's pov.

I woke up finding myself on Moonys couch in his dorm, I couldn't see him anywhere so I wrote him a note saying I went back to my dorm and left it on his table. I noticed it was 7:30am and I was gone all night so Cedric must be wondering where I was.

"Y/N WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL NIGHT??" I hear as I  turns around seeing Pomona standing there all worried.

"I'm fine don't worry I was with.." I stopped, debating if I should tell her or not.

"Go on." Pomona said lifting my head up.

"I was with Remus, happy now? I have to get dressed now so excuse me. Bye professor!" I said running off knowing I was gunna be late. I ignored Cedric and went to get dressed ,quickly running to the great hall. I knew I had to eat quickly because I had potions first. I ate as quick as I could so I didn't get a detention from Snape again.

I ran into the classroom checking the time to see it was 8:28 and I wasn't late, I sat in my seat waiting for class to start finding out we were making amenotortia potions. After Snape explained how to make the potion I made it perfectly. I smelt it smelling,

'Hmm forest... cinnamon and .. no..chocolate.' I thought to myself knowing Snape would ask me who I smelled in less then a minute.

Just as I thought that the devil himself headed over asking who I smelt.

"I rather not shared Professor, is that alright?" I asked.

"As you wish." He replied, while I was thinking how I just managed that.

"Cedric who and what do u smell."Snape demanded him to tell him.

"I uhhh smell vanilla, coffee and books, I think it's y/n." He added the last bit quietly but I didn't make it look like I knew.

Just then Moony walked in.

"Ahh Professor I never knew that the dungeons smelt like coffee and books with a hint of vanilla." He said leaning in the doorway.

"Amentortia potions." Snape said back annoying that Moony just interrupted his class "what do you need."

"I need to speak to y/n please." He asked.

I wasn't paying attention to what they were both saying so Moony was calling my name a few times before I snapped out my dream. He took me out of class down to his classroom, he closed the door and gave me a hug before pulling away from me. I grabbed him, pulling him into another hug before pulling away to.

"Moony?" I asked.

"Yes y/n?" He answered softly.

"You know who u smelt in the potion.. I think it was me Moony because Cedric smelt me to." I said.

"I- I'm sorry y/n. I did yes, I know your my student and it's wron-" he said getting cut off by me kissing his lips.

To my surprise he kissed back, I had never felt so happy in my entire life. My stomach was filled with butterflies. We both pulled away just looking into each other's eyes for a moment.

*BANG BANG BANG*

Someone was at the classroom door, looking for me. Moony opened the door to find Cedric at the door.

"Sir could I speak to y/n quickly please?" He asked looking for me around the room.

"Of course let me just speak to her really quickly then she'll be out as soon as she can." Remus said shutting the door on Cedric face.

"Right you better be off my love." He said kissing my forehead motioning me out the door.

"Hey hey Cedric." I say greeting him with a hug.

"Hey, can I ask you a question?" He asked me

"Of course I said to him while making our way down to the common room.

"While you uh go to the yull ball with me?" He asked me.

I was shocked and didn't know what to say so I asked him if I could have a think about it and of course he said yeah. I went to the Gryffindor common room to hang out with Ginny and Hermione.

"GUYS I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING HERMIONE, GINNY." I shouted while saying the password to enter the common room, Ginny gave it to me obviously.

"WHAT Y/N YOU SCARED ME!" Ginny shouted to me running down the stairs into the common room followed by Hermione.

"What is it y/n?" Hermione asked intrigued.

"Ok so you know how I said about how I liked Professor Lupin because I tell you guys everything??" I asked

"Yes?" They said at the same time.

"WE KISSED!" I screamed making sure harry and that couldn't hear me. "Anyways i have to go ask professor Lupin about this work."

"I can help you y/n." Hermione said realising I wasn't going there to ask about work. "Never mind."

Readers pov.

Y/n got to the DADA classroom, her fist was about a millimetre away from the door before turning around. Suddenly she heard a muffled "come in."

"No it's ok Moony." She said through the door.

"Y/n I said come in darling." He said to her with a sincere voice.

"Fine, ok so I know we're not dating but I was just wondering if you could give me.. a little advice?" She asked looking away from him.

"On what?" He said getting up, going over to y/n giving a kiss to her.

"Cedric asked me to the yull ball and I don't know what to do." She said trying not to breakdown.

"Hey, hey it's ok." He said giving y/n a hug and some calming tea. "See, just because you go to the yull ball with someone doesn't mean that you have to date them does it now?" He assured her.

"I guess so, thank you . I- I love you Moony." She said giving him a kiss on the nose.

" I love you too y/n." Moony said, giving her a tight hug showing her how much he loved her.
