Stronger Than You Think

Headaches

This story will probably be is Sabre's POV unless something happens to him or I want it to be in a different POV

{-Sabre's POV-}

I was driving back from my job. My job was being a scientist but I'm also a cop. But I stopped being a cop a few years ago. Why? Well because I already was a scientist so I had two jobs and it was a lot and I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't really get a lot of sleep when I was a cop and scientist and I was closer to the people I work with in the lab then when I was a cop in the office. Their names are Lucas and Colleen. I also knew Colleen's brother. His name was Spency. He works as a Teacher in the elementary school. Now don't get me wrong I loved being a cop and I still work for them a little to help with cases. And these cases were so weird. They always were ending up with a house burning down. It always was with fire so this person loved fire I assumed. These cases have been going on for at least 4 years now and the cops were starting to give up on these cases but I wasn't going to.

I am a 23 year old man and love alone. I do YouTube for fun and what I do on YouTube is play games and sing. Yes I sing. I do it for fun because I love making songs. I also love to dance but I don't usually dance a lot. I make songs for kids. They give me either a topic, some words to work with, or they ask me to make a song about myself. Which is very kind of them. I do get a big variety to work with.

My best friend is Lucas. I knew him ever since I was a kid so we knew a lot about each other. My other best friend's name was Colleen. I knew her ever since 5th grade. We were pretty close. My friends always liked to tease me because I have chocolate brown hair with a bandana covering my eyes and I'm also short. I'm also their boss so they don't take it too far unless they want something to happen to them.

Lucas was also the only one that knew a very big secret of mine and that was that I had magic and not just like one main magic I had a variety. So I just didn't have speed or something like that. I had special powers or magic. But with having all of that magic it was hard to control so I only knew how to use my speed. I was super fast according to everyone meaning Lucas, Colleen, and Spency. They all knew I had magic but Lucas knew I had more than just speed. I also knew I was super fast because I could break the sound barrier and I've done it multiple times. Now I wasn't the only one that had magic there were three more people that had magic and that was Lucas, Colleen, and Spency. Lucas had Water and Ice magic, Colleen had Fire magic, and Spency had Nature magic. We didn't use our magic unless we were dealing with crime, practicing, or just having fun in our lab or we were using it for Lab purposes.

{But let's stop talking about myself and everyone and start talking about today}

{-Sabre's POV-}

I was driving to the lab within a headache and this empty feeling and I don't know why I was feeling this empty feeling but I was. When I got to the lab I went straight to my office and at down in my chair. I leaned back with my legs crossed on my desk thinking because I wanted to know why I was feeling this way but I couldn't think of an idea.

Colleen barged in saying very happily "Heya boss how's it going!"
I was startled a little but replied with "Umm fine I guess I just never mind."
Colleen looked at me where my eyes would be if I didn't have a bandana on and asked "What's wrong boss you're never sad or frustrated this early in the morning."
I replied with "I dunno I just feel empty and I have a headache." I put my hand on my head. I also stopped leaning back and looked straight at Colleen.
Colleen looked at me with this sad look and said "Again with the headaches this is like the fourth one this week. It's Thursday I thought they would've been gone by now."
"I thought so too but they aren't gone and they just keep getting worse." I said
"I'll go get Lucas, maybe he has an idea of what's going on." Colleen said then left to go get Lucas.

A few minutes later Lucas comes running immediately over to me and checks my forehead. He takes his hand off my forehead and stands there and thinks for a second.

"What are you think doc." I say then smile and then chuckled a little
"Haha very funny Sabre you're a dork." Lucas says while smiling
"Does he have a fever or something Lucas." Colleen says in a worried tone
"No he is completely fine. But I think it may be because of our magic because you said you have been having small headaches and I have and so your brother Colleen." Lucas said
I got worried when he said that. So did Colleen I could tell because of the look on her face she was terrified.
"Ok hear me out. What if it's someone instead of something. What if it's the person that's causing all the fires and houses to burn down." I said
"That could be a possibility because we can never seem to catch them." Lucas said
"Well let's say it is this person what are we going to do about it?" Colleen asked
"I dunno. You're going to have to give me some time to think about it ok." I said
Lucas and Colleen nodded and looked at each other and left to go do some research on these cases with the fire because if that's what's causing my headaches and there's then this person knows about magic and that's not good at all.
