Her mate was the happiest man married man right now. He saw his true mate thru the window during the ceremony. He wanted to run to her ...well his wolf did. His wife was next to him giving him the brightest smile. " Nothing can ruin this day." He thought. He heard a scream upstairs and he ran up the stairs. Once he got there he felt his whole world stop. There on the floor was his mate pale as a ghost with a pool of blood surrounding her body. He stood there not moving he was pretty sure he stopped breathing."This is all a dream.That is not my mate on the floor... no that can't be her ...no not her." He thought. He started screaming telling someone to call the pack doctor. He went towards his mate and checked her pulse...he got nothing. Tears were going down his face. He got his mate and pulled her close to him.His arms wrapped around her tightly like it should be. He was rocking them both side to side. He put his hand on her cheek and he felt how she was starting to get cold. He saw his wife standing at the door with her hand on her mouth and tears streaming down her face, but he didn't care. All that mattered was the one who was in his arms the girl he should have married. The pack doctor finally came in. Everything happened so fast next thing he knew he was the hospital waiting ... praying... hoping that his mate was okay. " Please be okay! WHAT HAVE I DONE! THIS IS ALL MY FAULT . TAKE ME INSTEAD MOONGODDESS NOT MY INNOCENT MATE !!" He screamed. He started crying like crazy everyone's eyes on him. All he wanted right now was for his mate to live and if she did he would kiss the ground she walked on. He would would beg her to forgive him. He would love her till he dies and say sorry everyday of his life. He saw the doctor come out of the room she was in . He shot up from the seat. " Is she okay. Please tell me she is. " he said. What the doctor said next was what changed his life forever. He ran to her room and opened the door. He looked down at this beautiful mate with tears in his eyes. He saw her breathing and her eyes were open. The first thing he said was thank god. He learned his lesson that day. Be grateful for what you get and what you have before it is all gone. He and his mate are happily married and have 4 kids. Till this day he still makes up for rejecting her everyday just like he said. He worships the ground she walks on everyday which she fines ridiculous.
