As I walked out of the darkness I had two things on my mind Paul Newman and a ride home well until I saw y/n
Y/n POV
I was walking around town until I saw ponyboy he was walking by himself I thought for sure Darry would kill him if he saw pony was walking by himself
hey pony i said as i walked towards him
hey y/n he said
so do you have a blade i ask
no i forgot it at home don't tell Darry
i won't ok calm down he would kill you if he saw that you were walking by yourself without a blade

we kept walking until we saw a car pull up of course socs we walked faster until they pulled up right beside us
what is a pretty little thing doing with a greaser
leave me alone bob i told him but they then got out of the car and grabbed both of us they tackled pony and one of them grabbed me i screamed so did pony they then covered both our mouths i bit down on his hand until i tasted blood he pulled his hand away thats when the gang came out
get out of here they yelled
the socs ran away Darry came up to pony and me asking if we were ok
We're fine darry quit shaking us please
You ok sweetheart
Yeah I'm fine darry
He helped me get up and hug me
What were you thinking not carrying a blade on you you couldve gotten hurt a lot worse
Sorry darry I forgot
