Bailey Griffins woke up with a start.
"Crap... What the hell...." She muttered under her breath.
Her long brown hair was all tangled around her face and she was wearing the same black dress with a white, neck high, shirt with a belt that she had been wearing the day before. Her thick eyeliner was all over her face and her dark green nail polish was smudged.
"Jesus... I'm a mess." She groaned.
The night before she was at a party and she got back to her dorm at like 3 am, completely wasted. She sat up from her bed and tried to comb through her hair with her fingers but it did nothing.
Her roommate, and best friend, Mia cheerfully said, "Well that was fun!"
Bailey laughed out loud at that and replied with a smirk and a nod of her head.
Mia and Bailey had been best friends ever since they had gotten to LMU.
"So, what are you planning on doing today?" Mia asked.
"I'm not sure. Should we go hiking?" Bailey asked, secretly hoping Miawould say yes.
"Sorry hon, I have to study for my exam tomorrow."
"Oh. Okay." Bailey sighed.
After Mia left for the library, Bailey put on this outfit:
She had always been confused. How was she going to live her life if she didn't even know what she wanted? For many months she had been having strange feelings whenever she looked at her best friend. Maybe she was overthinking it and it was all in her head. Maybe she was hormonal. Or maybe, she was starting to fall for Mia Waters. Her feelings had always been unruly and she was just a huge ball of crazy emotions.
Mia stuck her head back into the room and Bailey felt her heart flutter.
"Hey, I forgot my math textbook." Mia said.
Mia picked the book off her bed and Bailey had the sudden urge to kiss Mia. To feel Mia's soft lips against her own. To let the world melt away and to just be there, with Mia. But unfortuantely Bailey didn't have the chance because her boyfriend walked into the door.
"Holy shit-" Bailey thought, "This is bad-"
Yeah, there was also the problem of Bailey dating her boyfriend Eric.
"Uh hey Eric!" Bailey awkwardly said.
"Hey?" Eric asked questionally.
Bailey had no idea what she was going to do. She was confused and worried and was actually pretty scared. She let a small tear trickle down her face and then covered it up with a smile.
"Sorry. What were you saying?" Bailey asked energetically.
"I was just wondering if we should go to the beach!" He said.
Bailey nodded her head and she smiled at Mia as Eric and she walked out of the dorm room.
