"Somewhere.... that's... greeeeeeen.." I sing as a single tear runs down my face.
"Beautiful, Bailey." The director says to me as I choke out the last note, "How long have you been acting and singing for?"
"Oh.... Ever since I can remember. It's always been my dream to be on Broadway." I say calmly.
"Well miss Griffins, you certainly are a natural performer."
I smile at this and thank my director.
"And you really proved you have an outstanding voice and acting technique."
I smile even wider.
"So we will let you know soon about callbacks!" He starts wispering, "Between you and me, there is a 99.9% chance you will be playing Audrey!"
I walk out the door with the widest smile on my face. I do a little twirl and the next second I'm in the arms of someone with a very familiar rose fragrance.
"Mia?"
"Hi Bailey" She says, her voice all coarse and sexy as FUCK, "How did the audition go?"
"It was... amazing." I say beaming up at this absolute goddess.
"I'm so glad."
"Mia... About earlier..." I manage to whimper out.
"What about it?" She says harshly, interrupting me.
"I-" I stupidly stutter.
She smirks that STUPID smirk at me and gives me butterflies as she says, "What... Cat got your tongue?"
I know I'm blushing so fucking hard right now, "M... I... I like you. No I don't like you. I am absolutely obsessed with you. Your sweet perfume, your little chuckle when I make a fool out of my self. You just get me like no one has before and I love you for that."
