When you're born with powers that you couldn't even begin to understand, even if you tried, things get crazy. People start fighting for the supreme power of our world, Novix. Around here, there are no adults around. They're sent to the Other Side when they reach the age of ninteen. And, there are no ultimate leaders, making it a basic free-for-all for anyone who would dare to conquer Novix.
My story starts with my group, the Red Delilah. Everyone in Novix gets put in a group when you turn fourteen years old, whether you have powers or not. Anyway, it was originally X, Jared, Star, Davi, Jade, Carter, and me in the group. All of us had been granted with powers when we were born and we were considered the strongest group in Novix. X, the mysterious, very serious boy, nominated himself as the unofficial leader of the Red Delilah without ever saying the words.
Of course, not everyone completely agreed with this. Jared, the usual fun-loving little boy grew up to become bittler, always wanting to prove that he was better than X could ever be. Eventually, his bitterness became pure jealousy and it was corrupting his mind. Slowly, he started to become evil, taking to the ways of the Black Dragons.
X forced him to leave our territory at once, and he did so gladly, vowing to return to kill X and take over, not just the Red Delilah, but the entire world of Novix to prove that he was forever better than X.
