Tomorrow! A grenade, waiting to be thrown, exploding, a second before midnight. Dreams are bitten into, like starving Children, wanting only a single bite, Survival has a less chance of surviving, life, than relationships, with Parkinson's trust, & Tourette's love.
Peace, scatters like hurricane victims, determination, shakes like earthquakes, Down syndrome, has a better chance becoming president, than faith has believing, in you
Depending on the day, your heart is volcanic lava, or cold icebergs, so when people address You
They're often don't dress for the occasion. So every situation leaves their own scars & abrasions! No invasions, we Guard down, God down, your eyes deceive plenty, while your sincerity blindfolds insecurities.
Many, wave off the extra security. With open arms, feeling comfortable embracing family, caught surprisingly, no guards, no God, no arms. So simple knives to heart's cavities, leaves more than tooth cavities, because there's nothing like your taste of your own blood.
Today knocks on tomorrow's door like a Jehovah Witness in the early morning, like a Christmas Day morning, surprises concealed, waiting to be revealed & opened, as tomorrow holds out it's hand, like homeless with a sign begging for change, like a sniper waiting on his chance for the perfect shot, he aims, patiently, like a defender waiting on the perfect block, picking the precise time & spot, like a red light waiting for a green light to stop. But one car doesn't, crash dummy! Ten car collision, everyone but the driver at fault dies. Every second is essential, every millisecond too long, is detrimental, funeral as all families wipes their eyes & say their goodbyes.
How do you view a beautiful butterfly. Trapped inside of a jar, with tiny air holes to breathe, can you tell if it's happy, maybe you'll see the smile on it's face every time you say tomorrow you may be free.
Tomorrow doesn't mean the same to everyone. So stop telling me there's always tomorrow. If yesterday doesn't fit in with today, how will today be good enough for tomorrow. or better yet, question why will tomorrow want to have anything to do with yesterday or the day before?
Because tomorrow someone's burying their lover, a teenage girl is becoming a mother, a mother is marrying a man, who will 10 years later have sex with her unborn daughter, a daughter is being molested by her father, a father is visiting his father on a dying bed, Hooked to a machine like ripe vegetable that's knows their ready to be plucked, but know they will never know such happiness of a better tomorrow, today.
Because today wasn't their best day, & tomorrow will only be best as a dead day, so they hold on to every previous day, all of their yesterday's memories, both the smiles & the frowns, because at a young age they learned, from the principal, a life changing principal, that an old age could never make them forget, or burn, some thoughts, so no matter The dementia or arthritis, no mater the family's crisis, yesterday always catches up with today, but tomorrow always pay for the both of their prices.
So how much will it cost you tomorrow, if you start of stop holding on to him or her, today. Because depending on the person depends on the times or days they're living & willing to hold on to.... forever!
