"Kentrell I'm so happy thank you so much".I said excitedly as we walked around the Disneyland Park

He was non-stop apologizing about making me cry earlier and I was mad at first and begging to go home but he took me to the mall and showered me with gifts saying "I wanted to do something I've never done before" and in my head I was like you've never apologized

On the ride here he told me that he felt bad for putting me through that in the house he was just trying to face an old problem and I was the "perfect one" to help for some reason

I forgave him, not knowing that my problem of forgiving easy was going to be my biggest downfall

"Oh my gosh look".I said pointing to the huge carrousel ride

"What is up with you and carrousels?".He asked laughing a little as I pulled him along with me

"I grew up riding them now come on".I said excitedly and stopped seeing he wasn't moving

"Can you get on it, did something haunt you or something".I teased jokingly and I seen him swallow a lump in his throat

"We can do something else if you want to".I suggested pouting

I really wanted to ride on it but he kept looking uncomfortable as we got closer to the ride and I didn't want him to feel uncomfortable 

"No, if you wanna go, go ahead".He said motioning for me to go

"I don't wanna get on it unless you get on their with me, please".I begged sliding my hands in his

"Aaliyah, what are you doing?".He said looking down at me weirdly 

"I want you to enjoy your day, can you at least do that".I said looking up at him swaying our hands as other people bumped past us

"You do know I basically kidnapped you right, you still putting up with me why you not trying to run like he- a normal person".He mumbled and I carelessly shrugged

"It's not kidnapping if I want to be here, you just need to get over your past, whatever you did I'm sure it's not that bad".I told him and without warning

I wrapped my arms around him and he was just so tense and he hesitantly hugged me back and I smiled feeling his grip tighten

He's holding me  like it's about to be his last time

I'm not going anywhere, when will he get that?

"Relax,I'm here".I mumbled still holding him feeling like it was what he needed in that moment

Comfort or reminder that he's a good person, he just has to find it even though I did kind of almost start ignoring him

At first I agreed because I didn't wanna die, but now, I wanna help him

"You'll end up leaving me like she di-

"Look I don't know what this she did but I'm not her-

"Is what you think".He cut me off

"No, I'm Aaliyah, not whoever the fuck Kira is so stop thinking that".I snapped pulling away from the hug feeling offended

"You are, you'll realize it later on and you'll leave, you'll find out sooner or later cause you being dumb right now but you will leave".He said carelessly shrugging

Damn, that's rude

"Well enough insults, let's go".I said brushing of his comment pulling him to the ride

Aaliyah was beyond exhausted and worn out so once they got home and ate Aaliyah had took a shower and instead of wearing her clothes she wound up asking Kentrell for one of his shirts

He gave it to her and she honestly slept peacefully snuggled up in his shirt, it smelled good and she was honestly at peace, he never thought it though

He thought it was an act, just like the others so the moment he lets his guard down and they try to leave and he's left with no choice but to get rid of them, he left one safe, he loved her, she was the first

Kentrell had taken over ten pictures of Aaliyah and her back was turned in all of them and he was hoping she would never find that room and put two and two together, which is why he kept her in the guest room

He was currently making his way to the room Aaliyah was sleeping in as his eyes hung low and he walked in his vision a little hazy and  he sat on the bed watching her in his shirt sleeping peacefully, unchained

"She was your age".He started off while laying on her stomach as she slept

"I was just trying to make it better with you but I can't,it's hard trying to face it this shit forever gonna be with me I just gotta handle it with time".He confessed as he mumbled rubbing his hand on her stomach

He used to do it to Kira when she sept because it soothed her and he just took it upon himself to re-do it with Aaliyah and it did calm her, she did it to herself for comfort

One of the many things that would send Kentrell back to the past he doesn't want to face

"How many hours or how many days it's gonna take for it to clear out my mind?".He said referring to his past

"I don't wanna be that person anymore, I just wanna change".He sighed feeling defeated to a now awake Aaliyah

"I can help you".Aaliyah mumbled rubbing his hair and he didn't even move or react to her he just wrapped his arms around her not wanting to face anything

The thing Kentrell faced to realize was that in order to fight the problem he had to face the problem and sooner or later he had to face the past, he had to face Kira

One way or the other
