Third Person's P.O.V

"Alrighty then, Lumi, it's ta-ta for two whole weeks!" Sarah chimed in with a cheeky grin, her eyes practically twinkling with mischief.

Luma wasn't having it. She shot back with an irritated scowl, "I know that grin, Sarah. You're planning to ghost me during our vacation, aren't you? Probably going to slack off like there's no tomorrow!"

Sarah laughed, thoroughly enjoying Luma's annoyance. "Oh, you've got it! You'll be doing my assignments, while I binge on One Piece!"

Luma groaned, "And how long are you planning to watch that anime, huh?"

"As long as it takes for Luffy to become the Pirate King!" Sarah declared with a glint in her eye, fully reveling in her friend's exasperation.

Winter vacations was just around the corner, and Sarah was buzzing with excitement. This winter, her mission was to devour Anime, Manga, Webtoon, and, of course, drown herself in Wattpad fanfictions. Why not? These were her true talents. Plus, she didn't exactly have a bustling family to visit anymore. So, these hobbies, alongside her internship and assignments, were her cozy companions.

Oh, yes, Sarah was an Otaku, a hardcore fangirl who drooled over every hot character. But hold on, there's more to her than meets the eye, and you're about to find out.

Luma couldn't help but poke, "So, who's this Luffy character? Another one of your crushes, I presume?"

"YAS! I'm telling you, he's adorable! But he is more like platonic crush " Sarah cooed, showing Luma Luffy's picture on her lock screen.

Luma rolled her eyes, unimpressed. "Adorable, my ass!"

Sarah playfully teased, "Oh my! Are you jealous or something?"

Luma scoffed, "I'm not your boyfriend, you know! Why would I be jealous of a stupid anime character?"

In her mind, Luma couldn't help but admit, "Of course, I'm jealous, you moron. You're giving more attention to that stupid fictional character than your own best friend."

But she didn't voice those thoughts aloud. Instead, she just grumbled, "Stop being so dramatic about a fictional character, Sarah!"

Sarah, still amused, placed her hands dramatically over her heart and proclaimed, "My Luffy is not stupid! He's-"

Luma interrupted, "He's just a character, Sarah. A drawing!"

Sarah, undeterred, continued, "He's adorable, and I'll fight anyone who tries to insult my Luffy!" She even added imaginary tears for effect.

Luma sighed loudly, facepalming herself. "This is the reason why you'll never get a boyfriend, Sarah!"

But Sarah, ever nonchalant, replied, "It's not like I even care, though."

"Hah! Of course! All you care about is that stupid Luffy of yours," Luma muttered, wearing her annoyed expression like a badge of honor.

"He is not stupid," Sarah said, looking at Luma with a pained expression.

Amused by her friend's dramatics, Yumna chimed in, "You girls are hilarious!"
