I've got a nice tight dress on. I wore it to a couple things before. I looked this restaurant up online and I have no idea how he can afford this place. I would be fine to just go somewhere cheap. He insisted he would pay but Dad gave me money just in case I need it.

"That doesn't look like a dress you wear for a friend." Nate says when I walk down the stairs.

"You're just jealous," I say rolling my eyes, "Because I had a boyfriend by your age and you're still single."

"I- I am not!" He stutters, "Plus you guys broke up, why would I want to break up?"

"Nate, the first person you date is very rarely your forever person." I say, "Anyways, you need to mind your own business, all three of you."

"Well we're all having some friends over next weekend." James says, "And you've gotta babysit us."

"What?" I ask, "Mum!" I yell into the house.

She walks in and smiles at me, "You look lovely dear."

"Thanks, um, what's this about me babysitting 14 year old boys?"

"13 and 14 year olds, Peter's having friends over too, you can as well, but I need you here to make sure they don't burn the house down." She says smiling at me.

I groan and say, "But Milly's away next weekend! She's going to her Aunt's house."

"You could invite your male friend." She suggests.

"You'd be ok with a guy sleeping over here," I correct, "A guy my age?"

"Well yes," She says, "You're not dumb, and I trust you. That'd be fine."

"Alright," I say frowning, "I guess I'll ask him."

The boys look shocked which makes me smile to myself.

The front door bell rings and I close my eyes, cursing under my breath.

I walk out and find Dad opening the door and talking to Greyson, "Hey." I say smiling at him.

"Ready to go?" Dad asks me.

I check my purse which has everything i need in it, "Yep." I grab my coat off the rack, Mum walks in and Dad says, "Greyson, this is my wonderful wife Lauren."

"Nice to meet you ma'am." He says, he's wearing a fitting tux, looking very mature.

"You too," She says, "Try to have her home before 1."

"I will," He says, "Don't worry."

I step outside and stand next to him, Dad asks, "Can I ask, how old are you? You look a lot older than a high school."

He chuckles and says, "I'm 18, but still a Junior, puberty hit me in middle school, I also work out a lot so that usually helps."

"Well take good care of her." Dad says.

"I will, don't worry Sir, have a good night." He says politely.

"Alright, bye guys," I say hugging them, I flick off my brothers before walking away.

My parents don't really care about swearing, just don't do it at grandma and grandpa's, or you'll get hit with the newspaper.

We get in his Ute, "You look lovely." He says.

"You too," i say smiling at him, he starts driving and I say, "You know you could have texted me, you didn't have to meet my parents."

"I know," He says laughing, "You're really nice to your brothers by the way."

I roll my eyes and say, "Well I just found out I'm babysitting a bunch of 14 and 13 year old boys next weekend, so that's fun."

"That sucks, are you taking your friend, what's her name? Milly?" He asks.

"That's her name but no she's going to her Aunts." I sigh, "Hey, what're you doing?"

He scratches his jaw and shrugs, "I didn't have a plan, I would probably just end up having Ryder and Noah over."

"Well come over to mine," I say, "Invite Noah and Ryder for dinner, but you can stay the night."

"Your parents aren't going to want me to come over let alone sleep there." He says giving me a look, "Plus you barely even know Noah and Ryder."

"Well there's only one way to get to know people better," I say, "My Mum said it's fine for you to come over." He still looks unsure, "Please don't leave me alone with a bunch of pubescent teenage boys."

He chuckles and says, "Sure, I'll ask Ryder and Noah tomorrow."

"Thank you so much." I say.
