Blue curled up in the corner bed furthest away from where you were sitting. The girl's head snuck beneath the layer of blanket in a suffocating manner. It made our chest clenched at the sight of how the thin material shaped her weak and frail figure. The miserable quiet sobs could occasionally be heard as Blue failed to hide them.

Despite your flame of curiosity, you respectfully sat away from the girl when she requested before taking her helmet off. It was too dark for your tired eyes to define her facial features as you had an idea she didn't want to show her weakness. You sat on the cold mattress, feet dangled as you listened to the empty medbay echoed with hollow sobs.

You exhaled, feeling the warm cloud clumped together in the small space. They clung onto the glass of the helmet, growing within seconds. It was the same medbay that you woke up to. The same place that was filled with carefree laughter, with the warmth of presence from all the crewmates. The grey air gathered together slowly fade away, losing the heat you unknowingly yearned for. Your eyes panned over the empty beds laid monotonically. Cold air breathed onto you. It latched onto your throat, burning you from inside out.

You stepped out of medbay, looking back at the poor girl that had calmed down. The faint outline of her figure gently raised before falling again. You didn't want to appear creepy; watching her sleep nor wanting to talk about the incident that costed Yellow's life. Your stomach swirled, wanting to eat itself inside out at the thought.

A low growl caught your ears.

The crackers and apple juice obviously wasn't able to sustain your hunger as your stomach groaned in response. You forced your sleeping legs to get moving. They felt heavy, as if you had a pair of shackles chained onto your ankles. You stood before the barely lit cafeteria. It had been deserted after the heated argument. The hard surface felt cool under your touch, it made you pondered wether the coldness would froze you with a simple contact.

You went through the boxes scattered at the lonely corner of the cafeteria that almost went invisible if you had not pay enough attention. A frown set on your face when you approached closer, letting the tiny flashlight from your helmet naturally fall forward. Several boxes were suffering from disfigurement. The perpendicular corners were torn by force resulting in rough and edges onto the once smooth surface.

You moved a finger to notice strange looking stains that weren't too alarming but couldn't go unnoticed either. They weren't as eerie as the colour of dry blood but they weren't just small splashs of water leaking during the transportation. You carefully inspected the smaller details on it. Small punctures patterned along the edge with the stains that soaked into the material. You backed away and breathed in the complete picture.

It was almost like some wild creature had gnawed hungrily through them in search for food. Your whole entire body tensed at the realization; they were torn but not all the way through. The thing that caused this wasn't finished, it was only midway through with the progress.

Your racing heart stopped for a split second when something hit the floor. It echoed throughout the dark space, the sound rippling into your veins and made the hair on your skin jumped. You froze. Eyes searched blindly for the source that created the noise. There laid a metal bowl. You breathed in, lungs gulped in the cold air greedily. They expanded; full and satisfied before vomiting it all out, leaving your body sick and groggy.

Your breathing was loud. You frowned. Much louder than you thought; much raspier than you thought. You pressed against your chest, slowing down the compressing and expanding of your lungs. Your throats pierced with pain and stung your eyes as you could feel tears brimming close to the surface. The white unnamed fear clawed onto you, whispering high-pitch ringings into your ears.
