Tubbo woke up.

He slept inside the Mind Space.

Not gonna lie, he was slightly saddened not to have woken up in that other house.

His house didn't feel like home anymore.

Lani burst open his room.

"Good morning!" She greeted. "I've heard that Mother and Father are coming home today."

"Yeah, I know."

"How much you wanna bet they leave on the third week?" Lani said. "You give me £100 if I'm right."

"I'll predict they'll leave on the second week, " Tubbo said. "But alright. "

"Yes! This'll be the easiest £100 I'll ever have!"

Lani sprinted away, leaving the door open.

Tubbo grumbled as he stood up to close the door. "Lani, if you leave my door open one more time—"

"It's so easy to just... CLOSE THE DOOR AFTER YOU LEAVE!"  He sighed. There's no reason to be annoyed, Tubbo.

He hopped onto his computer, scrolling around his emails, in which he got alot of unread emails from his parents.

"Hello from Paris! Met an awesome person here, her name is Sherryl! She said she had a nephew, and he lives in Britain! We should arrange you a play date!"

-

"Hi, Toby! We are at Hollywood right now! I know you would've loved to see the studio here! We should really take you, but you have studies."

-

"Hi! We're going hiking here, it's really tiring but awesome!"

He scrolled farther, but every message he read just fuelled his anger.

Why couldn't they just... Stay?

-

He heard the doorbell ring.

A butler (who right now is dressing as a maid) called HBomb, opened the door, to reveal his parents.

His mother and father had a smile painted on their faces as they wrapped their arms around their two children.

"Oh, I missed you! How are you two, my little babies?"

"We're both fine, Mother Dearest." Tubbo replied. "I'll go to my room now."

"Come on, Toby! We were just going to play badminton outside with you and Lani!" His mother said, holding rackets.

"I... Don't want to play right now. I want to go to sleep."

"...Alright." She gave in, walking outside, defeated.

Tubbo raced up the stairs into his room, where he plopped into his big bed.

As he sighed, closing his eyes, he heard a creak.

"Toby...?" Lani whispered. "You alright?"

Silence continued, and Lani sat beside her brother.

"I know how you don't like Mother and Father, but maybe we can finally bond with them!" Lani smiled. "I mean, there's still hope!"

More silence.
