Poisedons child pt1

This one is going to be two parts because i have to write two different pov of the same day.

Sarah pov

When I woke up I thought it would just be an ordinary day. Boy was I wrong. My alarm went off at 6:30 and I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I could hear my mom humming in the kitchen. I groaned and rolled out of the comfort of my bed. I got dressed and picked up the school books that were scattered around my room. I set them in my backpack and went downstairs.

My mom was moving around the kitchen as she made pancakes. "Morning mom," I said. "Morning sweetie. How many pancakes do you want?" She asked. "Uh four" I answered. She handed me four pancakes on a plate and the bottle of syrup. As I was eating, my twin brother, Luke came down stairs, still half asleep. "Morning Luke'' I said cheerily. "How are you so dang cheery in the mornings?" He groaned. I shrugged. In reality it's my incognito way of annoying him. "You kids excited for school?" My mom asked. This was only our second week at our new school. We got expelled from our last one and now we go to Goode highschool. "Mom its school, i think that's all the explanation you need." My brother answered. "I guess" I answered after him.

We finished our breakfast and left after saying goodbye. The day went by quick and before I knew it we were in the gym. During gym three enormous black dogs burst through the wall. My friend Grover came up to me as fast as he could on crutches and told me we had to get out of here. I nodded and we ran, we found Luke and ran. We ran back to my house and when we got there Percy jackson, the most popular kid in school, was sitting there talking with my mom. "Good you're here we have to go" Percy said. "Wait a second what's going on?" I asked. My mom came up and hugged us, "Percy will explain on the way. I love you guys and you need to trust Percy and Grover. Percy is just like you okay?" she said. We both nodded. "Right Luke, Sarah go pack a bag of what you want to bring. There will be food clothes and a cabin where we're going so decide but hurry. They'll be here soon.'' Percy said to us and then turned to Grover. "Grover did they follow you home?" He asked. I didn't hear Grover's reply as I ran upstairs to pack. After we packed Luke and I ran back downstairs. "What now?" Luke asked. "Now you say a temporary goodbye to your mother and then we leave." Percy answered. We said goodbye and hugged our mom. Then all four of us ran outside. "Your mom said we can take the car so hop in." PErcy said. "Perce getting any deja vu?" Grover asked. Percy laughed as he got in. "Totally lets just hope the car doesn't flip this time." He answered Grover and Luke and I shared alarmed looks. Percy looked back at us. "Guys don't worry I'm trained now no ones getting kidnapped this time." That didn't calm us down. "Who are you?" Luke asked.

"Im Percy Jackson. The guy with way too many titles but all in all two time savior of the world." He answered. We looked at him in awe as he started the car and began to drive. As he drove we heard noises coming from behind the car. Luke and I turned around and looked out the window to see the huge dogs bounding towards us. "Uh incoming" Luke said. "Dang. That was quick" Percy said. He stopped the car and got out. "Grover can you drive?" He asked. "Um sure" Grover answered him. "Ok good. Drive them to camp. I've got this." Grover nodded and crawled into the driver's seat. Percy ran off as Grover started the car. "You just gonna leave him?" I yelled. "Trust me he's fine he's faced much worse." Grover answered as he began to drive. Luke and I watched out the window as Percy ran up to the dogs and slashed at one with a sword that came out of nowhere. The sword went through the dog and it disappeared. Percy and the dogs went out of sight as Grover drove away.

A couple minutes later Grover stopped the car in the road. "What are you doing?" Luke asked. "Get out," Grover said, ignoring Lukes question. We got out with our bags. "Run into the forest there's a big hill with a single tree. You need to run up the hill and get past the tree." Grover ordered. "What about you?" I asked. "I'll be there in a second. Now go" We nodded and ran into the woods. We found the base of the hill and looked up. As we stood there Grover caught up but now he wasn't completely Grover. "Grover?" I asked. "Woah your half donkey." Luke said. "Why does everyone always think I'm half donkey!" Grover exclaimed. "Luke, drop it, let's go" I said. "Yes mam" He saluted and we ran up the hill.

When we ran past the tree a girl with curly blond hair and stormy grey eyes ran up to us. "Grover where's Percy?" She asked. "He stayed back to fight the hellhounds." Grover answered. Just then there was a roar and the girl groaned. "I'll be right back." She told Grover and ran past us. She disappeared into the trees and Grover turned to us. "This is Camp Half-Blood." I looked out and saw a bunch of cabins, an arena and what looked like a really dangerous climbing wall. "What is this place and why are we here? Also what were those things that were chasing us?And what are you?" I asked. "Well for the last question im a satyr, For the first question this camp is a safe place for people like you. The second question because you belong here. And the third question, those were Hellhounds." He answered.

"Wait but almost everything you just said is from greek Mythology." Luke said. I realised he was right. Ever since I can remember our mom has told us greek stories about demigods. Then when it was an option, made sure we took greek mythology at school. "Wait, you're saying the greek gods are real?" I asked. "I'll let Chiron explain everything." Grover answered.

We walked down to a big house and found a man sitting in a wheelchair. "Chiron, I have some new demigods," Grover said to him. "Ah good but where is Percy?" Chiron asked. "He stayed back and fought off the hellhounds and Annabeth went to help him." Grover answered. "All right thank you Grover" Grover nodded and walked away. "What are your names?" Chiron asked. "Im Sarah and this is my twin Luke, we're both 16," I answered. "Okay well i am Chiron. Did Percy explain?" He asked. "Not really," Luke answered. "You can trust Perry Johnson not to explain." A man sitting next to Chiron said. I gave Chiron a confused look. "Ignore Dionysus; he refuses to know the names of the demigods." I nodded and walked inside the house behind Chiron. He explained everything to us and showed us the orientation video.

After we left the big house we met a girl named Piper. She was really nice and brought us to the armory so we could find weapons. I picked out a dagger and Luke picked out a sword. For the rest of the day we explored and then we ate dinner. During Dinner Chiron announced that we would be playing capture the flag.

We had started Capture the flag and I was near the river when I heard a sound behind me. I spun around and saw Percy. We were on different teams so I attacked. We fought for a couple minutes and I was about to drop. I had cuts on my arms but nothing that was gushing blood or anything. I tripped over a root and fell backwards into the river. I immediately felt better and I stood up again. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a bunch of campers watching my fight with Percy. Percy and I circled and I lunged. We fought for 15 more minutes and by then the whole camp was watching. I fell backwards into the river again. This time not only did it heal me but a glowing trident appeared over my head. I turned around and saw one over Lukes head also. Chiron came to the front of the crowd and said, "All hail Sarah and Luke Martin children of Poseidon.

After that everyone went to the campfire and then went to bed. As i laid in bed i came to the conclusion that my life would never be the same again. My life has changed but i think it has changed for the better.
