here i am, at your wedding.

i was in a light blue dress, my hair curled. samu was my "date" to the wedding because he didn't want me alone.

i got seated, second row on your side. samu was beside you though, he was your best man. crazy that all these years have past.

seeing her walk down the aisle, the sun radiating off her face. she was glowing. the way you looked at her, you would never see me like that.

the smile you wore while looking at her. it was filled with love.

what happened to us

it was the after party you walked up beside me and hit my shoulder lightly, "this could've been us," he says.

the words breaking my heart but i can't show it.

"i would shift realities if i had to," i say before hugging him.

releasing from the hug, i look at him one last time. "i guess this is it," he nods slowly, his eyes darting my figure. watching me slowing walk out of the banquet hall.

walking to my white car, opening the door. i turn around to see the banquet hall one last time, "maybe i just want to be yours," i say. quickly driving off,

"my heart beats for you always, suna rintarō. i love you forever and some more."

tears running down my face, my lips curve into a soft smile, as i drive down past your street.

it's been 3 years.

crazy thing is, i never learned to move on. you have a wife and kids. you even have a dog, named fishy. when i found that out my heart broke even more than before. life was great for me on the other hand.

i had my own big house, i got into the top university. i was top of my classes. i had everything, but you.

i was sitting on a bench near a bridge. they built one right near the beach we would go to. couples were passing by putting locks with their initials. it was 2 in the morning.

i had blocked everything out, i couldn't hear a thing. i didn't want to, all the "i love you, you and me forever" it's exhausting.

i wonder if he still remembers me.

fidgeting with my necklace i always wore. i was standing at the railing looking down.

i looked around no one in sight. you gripped onto the railing more. internally thanking everyone.

and rin thank you for not playing our song at your wedding.

i jumped.

but someone caught me, they were holding onto the railing too.

"rin,"

"please don't leave me,"

"y/n you're ok,"

"y/n i'm slipping,"

"rin hold on, just let me go please."

"if you're going down, i'm coming with you."

i let go of his hand.

he lets go of the railing

i was in his arms as we fall to our death.

so it was a love beach.
