Entrance Exam

(Y/N) POV

I was still in my bed trying to fall asleep when I heard him open the door.

''Get up, or else your'e going to be late for the exam'' Said Shota.

Shota was actually the one who took charge of me after the orphanage accident and ,ever since then, I've been staying at his house. I consider him as my father even tho he only is a tutor. He didn't sign any adoption papers... yet. I really wish he's going to soon because if he dosen't, I'll one day have to go back living in an orphanage, and that's really not what I want. I only live here because I'm considered as a ''mission'', the mission being to train me. It was supposed to end years ago, but Shota decided to continue keeping me and training me, proof that he cares about me, and I also care about him, that's why I wanna stay here with him.

I slowly got up from bed and got down for breakfast. Because I was kinda tired right now, I just made myself a bowl of cereals. I mean, I lost two hours of sleep... kind of understandable, right? Or maybe it's just me lacking of sleep on usual.

After eating, I got in the shower, got dressed and went to U.A. High. The people taking the exam were supposed to arrived later in the day, but since I'm Shota's ''daughter'', I arrived early. I was actually surprised he offered to ride me to the school, normaly when we go out, wich is pretty rare, he usually makes me go there by myself as a part of my training.

''Uh, Shota, why did you decide to drive me there today?'' I asked to him.

''Because you need to keep your'e energy for the exam later, you'll need it'' He awnsered me.

Time skip because what happened before the exam isn't all that intresting-

I just finished the written exam with the others and now, it was time for the physical test. It was going to be a race. I could you my quirk so there wasen't going to be any problem, I could just fly above the obstacles.

As Present Mike announced the beggining of the race, I spred my wings and flew above the race. I tought I was first until I looked down to see two boys in front of me. How could they be faster than me? Wait no... it's one of the guys quirk who's making me slower. One of then creates wind, and the wind is facing the opposet way wich is slowing me down. Then theres a two haired color guy who creating ice. I can still try going faster, but that could also slow me down. I decided not to take any chances and kept my speed as it was. If someone else gets infront of me, then I'll speed up.

I finished the race third. I'm at least in the top three, the wind guy won and the double haired one got second. They're both very fast, and probably also strong. What's left to see is if they're intelligent. I didn'r really wanted to talk to them since I didn't know who they were, so i kept to myself, in my own toughts. At least, that's what I wanted to do, but wind man came to talk to me. Oh gosh what do I say? I don't even know this guy!

''Hello there! I'm Inasa Yoarashi! Nice to meet you!'' He said in an eagered tone.

''H-hi.'' I said in response.

I'm really not the best with starngers.

''You look scared, did I scare you? Sorry if I did so! Hope you'll forgive me!'' He said while bowing in apology, hitting his head on the ground.

''Oh uh no it's ok! I'm uh... (Y/N) (L/N), nice to meet you.'' I said kind of embarassed.

As he got up, I noticed his forehead bleeding.

''Oh god, your'e forehead it's-'' I tried to say but being cut off by the energized man.

''Oh that, that's nothing! I'm used to it!'' He said, still talking very loudly.

After that, he congratulated me for third place and I returned the compliment congratulating him for first place. He the left to go talk to more people. He's actually quite nice, just a bit excentric.

Time skip to an hour later

When i was heading home (Shota drove me to the school, but left me to walk back home by myself), I saw two boys arguing. I was curious so I got closer to listen to their conversation.

''K-kacchan! Look I can explain! I'm just a late boo-'' Said a boy with green hair.

''SHUT UP STUPID DEKU! I DON'T NEED ANY OF YOUR EXCUSES, I TOLD YOU TO NOT COME HERE AND WHAT DID YOU DO?! YOU CAME!'' Said the one with ash blond hair.

I wanted to help out the green haired boy, but I also didn't want to get screamed at too. I tought about what I should do, then came to the conclusion that I should at least try and help him. I have a feeling this is going to end badly.

''Um excuse me but, I couldn't help but over ear your'e argument a-and...'' I said quite nervous.

I'm not the best with talking to people I don't know alone like that, what was I thinking comming to stop an argument?! I can't even talk properly! I didn't realise that I was silent for a little too long until the ash blond guy spoke.

''What do you want extra?! You already came into this conversation whitout asking and now your'e making me loose my time by staying silent?! Speak up or FUCK OFF!'' He said very angry.

I don't know if we can really call this a conversation...

''Well, umm... I was just wondering what was the problem..?'' I said nervous.

''That's none of your'e buissness so FUCK OFF!'' The ash blond said.

He then started yelling at the poor green guy again. I needed to do something. I needed to be more courageous. I was about to go back and talk more fermly when the hedgehog pushed the broccoli to the ground. That... really... angered me. It remined me of that dream I had last night. I got up to the ash blond and punched him, without even realizing what I've done.

''WHAT THE FUCK?!'' He screamed.

Just realizing that I punched this aggressive guy, I was making my last prayers before death would come and take me. Thankfully, a pro hero who worked at the school came and stopped our fight. We got schoolded, of course, and then went home.

When the ash blond was out of sight, the green haired guys came to me.

''H-hey, I uh... I wanted to say thank you for defending me back there!'' he said bowing down.

''Oh it's nothing really! I couldn't just stand there doing nothing when I saw someone getting hurt. Altought, I'm sorry for not have stopped him myself, I wasen't strong enough...'' I said disapointed in myself.

''What? You did great! Going up against kacchan like that is still alot!'' He said in a cheerful tone. ''By the way, I'm Izuku Midoriya.''

''Nice to meet you Midoriya, I'm (Y/N) (L/N), but you can call me (Y/N).'' I responded back.

I'm glad I made a new friend but, I had realised that I wasen't done training yet. I had to get better talking with people and get more guts, or else I won't be able to become a good hero.

End of Chapter 2: ''Entrance exam''!

Hey ya'll! Sorry if the chapter isn't that good, in most fanfics of bakugou x reader, (Y/N) is already kind of a badass (well in those I red) but in this one, I want to make (Y/N) grow into a more stronger person as the story goes on, I find it a little more intresting than the already badass.
