In the canteen, the tension around them was intense. Naruto and Hinata were witnessing something very unusual coming from You and Sasuke.

Avoiding each other's gaze.

There was something between them so confusing that it was pretty impossible to explain. Hinata wondered if It was because of what she said

'O-Oh she's talking with Yahiko–'

Electricity immediately hit her, that had to be the reason why he acted weird earlier. He was jealous. Naruto also realized it, he did way before Hinata ever processed it.

"When are you guys going to start dating?" Naruto asked curiously, Hinata seemed captivated by it as well. You and Sasuke immediately glare at Naruto for asking such a question. You felt your cheeks redden, why did he ask that in the first place?

Silence entered the conversation

Naruto sighed in defeat, they were even more stubborn than him and that's saying something. Hinata has never seen this side of you before and it somewhat began to make her worry "You guys can at least say something?" They both refused to look at each other, both prides were on war and it was cold.

Naruto and Hinata shot their heads down low, this wasn't going to be easy...

Hours later, school was over and You and Sasuke still haven't exchanged looks. It was like adding fuel to the fire. Hinata saw that they both wanted to look at each other but something blocked it. In the hallway, somehow Yahiko would always pass by whenever You passed by and it looked like it infuriated Sasuke at some point that it didn't even make him want to talk to You

They were acting like a married couple in conflict which was concerning.

"(Y-Y/n)-chan, what's h-holding you back?" Hinata inquired hoping to get a response from you, you looked down. "I-I don't know..I don't know how to proceed" Everything was going wrong for you today and you disliked it

"The way he looked away from me infuriated me and I know that I didn't do anything"

"I'm not at fault so if he doesn't do anything then I'm not as well" You cross your arms then would look away.

"W-Well Sasuke is coming your way right now" said the Hyuga, you immediately got alerted "I-I really?" Hinata nodded as she then took a step back seeing that he had already arrived. You turned around to face him with a small faint blush on your cheeks. A staring contest was made as the tension was grouping up, finally one of you slightly looked away and that person was Sasuke. He knew that he was at fault

"Uh..hey" He said as he felt his face starting to burn up a bit "H-Hey.." you replied hesitantly

"What's still between you and..him?" He said silently at the end of his question, he wanted to say sorry at first but his pride got the best of him. Your eyes widen at his question "What do you mean by 'him'?" You knew what he meant by 'him' but you wanted Sasuke to say it himself. He scrawled at you for that "You know damn well who I'm talking about"

You pop a vein at his choice of words, you were going to continue to deny whatever question he asks until he said it "No, I really don't" You said coldly. Sasuke face palmed so hard, he literally ignored the pain. He had no choice but to say it even if he absolutely loathed it "Do you still like Ya–" He clenched his teeth trying to spit out the words "Do you still like Yahiko?" He stared at you with an intense gaze that could probably kill, if only it could.
