every human being needs a place where they can hide away. this place must have some criteria which is suitable for each person. therefore, the place i go to when I want to escape the world is my room. it is the best place to escape the world because of its appearance and privacy.
laying there, feet levitating into the cool atmosphere that surrounded me. i heard the sound of my playlist looping faintly as i waited for quackity to start his stream.
honestly, i was quite different to my society. not to act quirky, but i wasn't quite like them. my name is ophelia, i am a twenty year old female who watches minecraft youtubers and streamers for comfort. i am also a part time streamer and starbucks worker. everyone else would rather be out partying, getting drunk. anything that included not being sober. i was the exact opposite.
coincidentally, heatwaves played as i noticed that george, dream, quackity, tommy and wilbur were playing roblox together jokingly. everybody knew the famous dreamnotfound wasn't real but it was so hilarious when they unintentionally flirted out of nowhere.
i grabbed my laptop and quickly made an account, the username being : idropkickchildren
i sat there and laughed for a good five minutes, even though it wasn't actually funny. i loaded onto the server they were playing, not expecting to be able to join. i smiled at the twitch video that was currently playing, as i loaded in.
i froze as i loaded in, full of shock and fear as i walked upto tommy's avatar. out of nowhere, you could hear tommy's unique laugh as he told everyone about my username.
they all started laughing and hitting me with nukes that the scuffed sever had. quackity started doing some weird dancing against me, expressing his love for my username.
within seconds, george screamed something about how alex doesn't know my age. i quickly typed into the chat box, explaining how i'm twenty and it's totally okay, i was nearly pissing myself of laughter at this point.
after around half an hour in that server, they were just talking and getting ready to finish their streams. i quickly decided to donate to quackity, wanting to talk to him about earlier events.

i could see a smirk appear across his face as the rest of the group burst into tears, remembering my username. he thanked me continuously as he was beginning to say goodbye to his stream.
