Hello everyone, as you can see I'm back with a new fic. This will probably be awful becauze in true Gecko fashion it's going to written at two or three a.m-
I'm sorry,,
Update: I still haven't started writing properly yet n it's now almost 10a.m-
Okay I'll finally start almost 12 hours after the last update-
Wow I'm so productive. Anyway, enjoy

Thursday, January 26th, 2017.
Time: 16:47 hours (4:47p.m).
Project block: Mechanics.
Lab and Lab owner: 13, Idabashi Kiibo.
"Kiibs! Whatcha doing ,huh?" Miu took her usual seat on the desk in the others lab. Much to their dismay, she was rather cheerful given the time and week day. Thursdays were no fun, and there was never enough time to finish projects if mandatory after school classes were on.
"What on earth could you want now of all times? Can't you see I have assignments to finish?" Kiibo didn't even have to turn to the other for her to feel the piercing glare she would've otherwise received. She knew they were busy, it wasn't an uncommon thing after all, yet the boy that stood next to her couldn't quite understand the spite of the figure running around and rummaging through draws.
The lab itself was a mess. Different sheets of different metals and a multitude of wires had been strewn across the floor.
"Kiibs we have a visitor you know?"
The inventors sarcastic tone made it obvious that the other knew all too well.
"And that's my problem because? Surely they have somewhere better to be than this place, take them to Tojo for food or something."
In all honesty, Kiibo could've been a lot crueler, but that would be better saved for a later date.
"Look dude, he just needs a school map and then we'll go. That sound good?"
"You know very well where the maps are, get him one yourself and then get the hell out of my lab!"
Letting out a sigh of defeat, the inventor slid off of the table and dragged herself to the ladder.
Why the fuck do you need stuff this high up Kiibs? It's not as if someone would break in and take any of this junk.
"Whilst you're up there, throw the flashlight down for me."
"You have twenty up here, what do you mean by the flashlight exactly?"
"Black rim with silver base, four power settings."
Without another word, it was thrown down. Kiibo caught it easily much to the surprise of the boy that was still yet to be introduced. They didn't exactly seem like the sporty type.
"Hey kid, trad. or digital?"
"I'm sorry, what is trad.?"
Kiibo had had enough of the boy's idiocy already and whipped around to glare at him, hoping he'd shut up.
"Paper or tablet."
The boy felt as though he were being spat at, and didn't particularly want to spend much longer in the room that was growing scarily full.
"Oh, paper will do fine." And along that was an added "Sorry." directed more to the lab owner than to Miu who had now been up there for a good ten minutes. She threw one down as effortlessly as she did the flashlight, proceeding to slide down the ladder rims like she had done hundreds of times before.
"Oh, Iruma, one more thing before you go," Kiibo added, looking more intense than before, "if you bring one more stranger that has a potential of breaking something in here into my lab, I'll set the entire mechanics block on fire. You got that?"
"Yeah yeah, I got it Kiibs. Come to dinner today, alright? We have a few new students and you need to eat something that isn't instant noodles and pizza."
"We'll see" they replied, which Miu knew meant no, earning Kiibo a rather annoyed look before she walked out. The boy she took with her simply scattered away without a word, and Kiibo could finally be at peace again.
Well, until Kokichi would turn up as he usually did to bring the other their food or patronise them.

A half hour has passed, it is not like him to be late. Even if he is annoying, being off schedule makes my life a lot harder. I'd rather not go find him but I haven't eaten in approximately seven hours.
Kiibo mulled over the possible outcomes of Kokichi's tardiness. Kidnapping was immediately crossed out as it was school grounds.
The leadership blocks are next door and the boy had learnt all of the hallways and shortcuts within the first day because he doesn't  like being lost. He wouldn't have been held up by one of the people that usually attend dinner as he gets there first as not to be distracted. He himself hates being late to anything so he's either asleep or talking to new students.
Kiibo looked at the clock, half willing the time to turn back. They knew it wouldn't happen, given that Iruma built the clock and it had internal mechanics to ensure it wouldn't break at all.
At last resort, Kiibo decided to use their personal vending machine, which they didn't particularly like but was stocked with food they ate so it served a purpose. Or at least it would be stocked.
"Where the fuck is my food?! It's here for a reason!"
Slumping back down into a chair, the roboticist kicked the model in front of them. They weren't one to take breaks but if they didn't eat now they'd be overly hungry at 03:00 hours (3a.m) and that would disrupt their creative flow. Not wanting to leave the lab, they took out their phone, pressing one of the two contact names.
"Hello"
"Hey Shinguuji, I get that you're probably eating right now but Kokichi's late and my machine's empty somehow. Could you bring me something up on the way back to your room?"
"I'm afraid I can't actually. I've been selected as a tour guide for the new students despite one of them being the ultimate traveller. He could probably get his way around the entire school in twenty minutes at this rate."
"Great. Is Miu there?"
"I'm afraid not. She's actually with Kokichi right now."
Of course she is, wanting me to go and socialise.
"I see." Kiibo's teeth ground together slightly, eyebrows knitting. They had no solution that didn't involve going to the dining hall.
"How many people are currently situated in the hall?"
"If I'm completely honest, I'm fairly certain the whole school is here. With new arrivals and whatnot."
"Fuck sake. I'm assuming it doesn't look like they'll be clearing out anytime soon either."
"I'm afraid not, everyone is rather excitable as of now.
Oh pardon-
Mhm-
I apologise Kiibo but I must let you go. Some of the students have questions about the school layout that need answering. I'll try and get back to you though."
"Yeah, bye Kork."
Kiibo could do nothing but sigh. The closest vending machine with food was in the canteen, and it didn't contain any nutritional items.
Welp, it looks like I'll be seeing people today I suppose. And killing Iruma later, I really need to get Ouma's phone number.

Aye chapter one done and finished. I hope it's okay, and I'm gonna try makes sure I don't write ten chapters per two days like last time. I'm pretty pleased with this I think, and I know that Kiibs n Taro had almost no interaction but you'll have to be patient okay. Anyway that's all from me, bye~
