The orange sky, the setting sun and a soft breeze flowing through the mountains and valleys are some of the most astonishing and beautiful things in Teyvat. Mondstadt, Land of freedom, the faint smell of wine flooding the streets of Mondstadt's city, becoming stronger as you approach Angel's Share, a famous tavern of the city which owner is one of the most successful and respected men of Mondstadt. Diluc Ragnvindr, owner of Angel's Share and Dawn winery, recognized by his characteristic cold and distant personality, he's also known for being against the knights of Favonious, guards and protectors of Mondstadt.
Cheers and music is heard from outside the tavern, night was about fall and Angel's Share was filled with people. - "Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you enjoyed this song!" - The boy with braided hair and green cape said. - "I hope you enjoyed as well, Diluc." - The bard said with an innocent smile drawn on his face. - "Your songs don't pay my dandelion wine, Venti." - The red haired man said in an irritating tone towards the bard's carefree words. - "Come on Diluc, we both know that without my songs and incredible music, this tavern wouldn't be filled up with people." - Venti said holding a Slight mocking tone in his voice. Diluc kept staring at him disappointment - "I'm not happy that most of these clients are part of the knights of Favonious." - He said without hesitation showing visual disgust. Venti looked around the tavern, admiring how, as Diluc said, the tavern was full of members of the knights of Favonious, some other residents of Mondstadt were there too, none of them knew what were they exactly celebrating at all, but who was going to decline a glass of good wine. The bard with a green cape took his lyre and stood up from his seat. -
- "Everyone ready to hear the next song?" - He asked excited still holding a bottle of dandelion wine on his hand. As response, almost everyone present in the tavern yelled in approval. The bard left the bottle on top of the counter and faced Diluc. - "With your wine and my music, we are able to make people enjoy the nights they spend here." - He smiled. - "Besides..! This is a win / win situation! You sell your wine and people take the time to appreciate my talent." - Right when Venti said that, he quickly stood on a table in the middle of the tavern preparing himself to play the next song with his lyre. Diluc slightly rolled his eyes before grabbing a glass that he started cleaning.Angel's Share was filled up with people, even at night time, Mondstadt's population had enough energy for parties and late night walks. Not so far away from Mondstadt, there's a forest, Forest Rendezvous. This forest wasn't as deep, big nor obscure as other forests of Teyvat, but it still was dangerous to go inside, especially at night when the hilichurls, slimes and other creatures wandered around. Footsteps were heard near the forest, but they weren't coming from any monsters or creatures but a traveler that somehow, arrived to Mondstadt.
[y/n] approached the stone bridge at Mondstadt's entrance. Two of the knights guarding the entrance saw [y/n] at the other side of the bridge, calmly approaching them. One of the knights spoke up. - "Welcome foreign traveler, Mondstadt welcomes you with open arms." - He kindly said. [y/n] smiled at him. - "Actually, I was searching for someone. An old friend." - They responded. Both of the knights looked at each other then stared back at [y/n]. - "Well, almost all of the city is now reunited at Angel's Share one of the most popular taverns here in Mondstadt. If you are searching for someone you should check that place first." - The guard said while pointing a path. - "Thank you! I should definitely go there and look for them." - [y/n] waved the knights and went inside the city. The absurd amount of cheers and applauses from drunk customers filled the ambient in the tavern. - "Thank you people of Mondstadt! A bard's labor is to make people enjoy their time with music!" - The bard said holding his lyre and thanking the customers for listening to the music he played. A man with an eyepatch, blue hair and tan skin approached the counter where Diluc served the drinks. Slightly drunk he managed to sit nearby. - "Diluc, you should have fun as well! Here... Drink a little, just a sip." - Kaeya offered him a cup of wine, but the red haired man declined. - "Remind me again why do I let you come in." - He said. - "Plus, I'm working. You also know so well that I don't like how wine tastes like." - Diluc finally added. - "Diluc, everyone is having fun! Come on, why don't you join us as well?" - Venti said trying to convince Diluc. - "Even if you join or not... I'm still waiting for a friend. I can't drink too much tonight." - The bard noted. Kaeya rested his head on top of the counter. Diluc gave Venti a confused stare. - "You... Have other friends?" - Diluc asked. Not in a mocking way or similar, he actually was genuinely asking the bard. - "Yep! They're supposed to be here in a little bit." - Venti stated.
Suddenly the tavern's door echoed a knocking sound, almost inaudible because of all the noise inside the tavern. The bard smiled and turned around to face the door. Kaeya lifted his head up to face the door as well yet he still felt dizzy because of the wine he had consumed. Diluc was serving a couple wine glasses, he didn't even bothered to look up. [y/n] opened the door and started to look around looking for their friend. They quickly spotted certain bard with braided black hair with teal on the tips, They walked up to him without hesitation. - "Venti! It's been a long time since we last spoke." - They said. - "It's nice to talk to you again. Welcome to Mondstadt, [y/n]." - The bard with green cape said welcoming the new traveler to the city.
