Bottles

A pile of bottles lie by a beach
Stormy rain is pouring
The sky releasing endless drops of its misery.

I pick one up, seemingly full of what's inside
More bottles appear.
Leaving a trail, more and more bottles to collect.

I rush back home, hoping my friends would like my gifts
As I give them my bottles one by one
They shatter on the ground.
Everything spills out of the bottles,
My vision left with no more color, only monochrome.

All my friends look at me,
their faces crying with agony.
They plead and plead, but I can't hear them.
I stare at them back.
All I hear is echoes, echoing that won't get out of my head.

Everyone breaks the wall, and tries to take me back
But it's no use.
The demon behind me pulls me into the dark
An endless, empty void of black.
