I was nervous about today. People had threatened my school, and I was still going anyways, I couldn't not go knowing that Emberley was unprotected, and it ended up being a good thing I went. I came to school with a big pocketknife, and when I got to school, Hell was going on. Everyone was going insane because of it. I yelled to shut up. And they listened to me. Emberley was by my side. I looked into her beautiful, blue eyes, and said, "Ems, beautiful Emberley, I want you to be safe, so whenever you feel like something's off, text me your class, and I'll be there in less then one minute. I have to go to Primetime, so I'll see you later," And I gave her a hug, knowing it was risky, and walked to my class, with my friends on my football team whistling. "Way to go bro!" Jackson said, clapping me on the back. "Atta boy, always knew it was in you!" My long-time friend Alec told me. Others said stuff as well, but it was mostly just the same thing. When I got to my locker, my locker-partner Spencer asked, "What's up Noah?" I responded with, "Nothing, just hoping I don't get shot today, and I'm gonna try to stay away from windows today" He said, "That's good, see you later," And then he left. He had a different Primetime then me. Because he got smart enough to get out of the math Primetime. I saw my one of my good friends Alivia, and went over to her locker, as usual on school days. "Hey Livi, whatt's up?" I asked her, putting a plastic cockroach on her shoulder. "Not much Noah," She responded. "Hey uh, Livi? You have something on your shoulder..." I told her, trying not to laugh. "AAAHHH!!!" She screamed, and threw it on the ground. She then resided to punching me on the shoulder. "OW! That hurt," I said, laughing hard while I picked up my plastic cockroach. "I hate you!" She said, mad. "Nah, you don't," I said, still laughing, but trying to be serious. "You're right, I don't. Hey, I have to go to class, see you later," She said to me as she left to go to her Primetime. I turned, and walked into mine, late as usual, but my teacher doesn't count it. I grab my folder, and sit down at me seat, by a window. I felt highly paranoid about it. "Mrs. Davis? Can I move seats, one not by a window?" I asked her. "Um, sure Noah, how about you sit by Tyler?" She responed. "Okay," I answer back. I grab my stuff, and sit by him. Mrs. Davis hands out a packet, and asked us to do it. Nothing bad about it. Tyler and I worked together on it. When the bell rings, I put my stuff back, head to my locker, and out of the corner of my eye, I thought I had saw something. I shrugged it off. I grabbed my binder for my next class, went to Emberley's locker, and we walked and talked and then I went to my class. It was on the ground floor, versus my Primetime class being on the second (top) floor. No windows, so I was fine. Me and my Robotics partner finished our robot, and programmed it, nothing unusual. I still couldn't get what I saw out of my head. It looked like a person in the trees. With a sniper rifle. I decided to forget it. I didn't know I hadn't been doing anything, so my teacher comes up to me, and asked, "Noah. Why are you not working?" I responed with, "Oh uh, no reason, just thinking, I'll get right back to work," And she turned and went back to her desk. About 10 minutes later, the bell rings, and I walk with Emberley and Alivia before Alivia takes a turn to go to her locker. I contemplated telling Emberley what I had seen, but didn't. I saw i was going to be late for class, so before I could go, she grabbed my arm, stopping me in my tracks, and gave me a hug. "What was that for?" I asked, dazed, and my heart beating 5000 times per minute. "I want you to be safe to, now go to class, I don't want you getting a detention," She said, before running past me to get to her class. I quickly sprinted up the stairs, opened my locker, grabbed my math binder, and sprinted down the hall towards Mrs. Gormley's room. "NOAH!" My principal said loudly as I sprinted past him. "Yes sir?" I sighed. "Go back to your locker, and walk, and try not to be late next time," He said, concerned on my constant tardiness. "Yes sir, I'll try harder," I said, knowing I will keep being late, and that it's worth it. When I was walking to class, I saw Emberley's class, and looked into it as I walked by, she saw me, and I smiled. She blushed, and looked away, smiling, "Worth it," I said, thinking it couldn't be a bad day. Oh how wrong I was. "Noah!! Whya re you late...this time?" Mrs. Gormley demanded. "Well, I was walking with a friend, then Mr. Benoit came up, and told me to walk. And I stopped for some nice erbal tea," I said smartly. "Fine, whatever, just get to work," She said, probably thinking on how she can make me not late. "Yes maam," I said, saluting. "Dude, you're gonna get in trouble one of these days," My friend D.J. said to me. "Whatever, I honestly don't care about tardiness in middle school, I won't be tardy in high school or college, campus is to big for that," I told him. He went back to work, and 3 minutes before the bell was supposed to go off, a strange voice I didn't recognize came on the speaker. "BECAUSE IT IS THE 21ST OF DECEMBER 2012, YOUR SCHOOL SHALL MEET IT'S END!!!" It yelled. I went to go stand by the door, knife unsheathed, when it opened, and a guy with a pistol came in, and shot Mrs. Gormley straight in the face. "AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Almost everyone started screaming. I stabbed the guy in the back after he walked in, not seeing me. "And that's what you get, murderer. Was it worth it?" I asked him, while he was dying. "Tyler! Get everyone under control, and keep the gun, protect the class, and call for help. NOW!!" I commanded. He did as I asked, and I walked out, seeing Emberley's class, and walking towards it. I heard steps coming from the stairs, and sprinted into her class, and I was met with chair 1 inch from my face. By instict, I grabbed it, set it down, and shoved my attacker, the teacher, away. "Shut up!! There's a guy 10 feet away," I whisper-yelled. Little did I know, he was aiming right at my back, and the teacher shoved me out of the way as he shot, and I ran up and stabbed his abdomen, before stabbing his side, killing him. "I need a new knife, and I think I'll use this pistol," I said, with my bloody knife in hand. "It isn't safe here, get to Mrs. Gormley's class, You'll be safe there," I told everyone. "Ems, I need you to come with me, I need to know you'll be safe. Just stay close behind me, and I will protect you," I said to her, looking her in the eyes. "I trust you, and I believe in you. Let's go," She said back. I smiled. And we went on to a few classes, and told them where to go. But then we got to the elevator, and it opened, with a guy with 2 pistols, and I trained mine on him. "If you fire, you go down to!!!" I yelled. "Well, wouldn't want to lose that pretty face huh?" He asked. "If you touch her I sweat I will shotgun your balls off. I WON'T LET ANYONE TOUCH HER!!!!!" I yelled louder, and then Ems took cover behind me. "Don't worry Ems, I'll find a way out of this, somehow," I said softly. "Noah, please, don't die. I know you're capable of killing this guy, but please, use that as a last result," She asked me. "Of course Ems. I don't want to kill, but I will if I have to," I tell her. I noticed the elevator door's closing. So while the guy took 2 seconds to make them go open again, I shoot his hands, making him drop the guns, and rush forward to gun-slap him, knocking him unconcious. "Let's get these guns to Mrs. Gormley's room, we'll be able to bring them with us, now that we have 3 guns," I explain to her. "Ok, you haven't let me down yet Noah, I believe you can do this, but we don't know how many their are," Emberley said worryingly. "Don't worry Ems, it doesn't matter if there's 10, or 10,000, I won't let any of them hurt you," I said soothingly, diminishing her fears. "Ok, let's go explain the situation to-" She started to say, before she saw a guy with a gun trained on her. "What's up Ems? See any-" I started to say before I saw it as well. He fired. Emberley screamed, petrified. I dove in front of her, feeling a sharp pain in my side. "AAAAHHHH!!!" I yelled. I took us into the library, and into a secret door. "Ems, I need you to grab the gun, and shoot him on sight, I don't think I have the strength to handle the kickback, which is bad, for it doesn't have a bug kick," I said, worried for my life. "Where are you? We have the entire downstairs hostage, and your friends in Gormley's classroom don't have many bullets left," A voice, deep and scraggly, growled. I turned to Emberley. "Ems, I need to tell you something, because this may be my last chance to do so, Emberey, I, I love you," I said, crying. "Oh Noah, I really wish I was sure about my feelings for you, but now is really not the time," She said, as nicely as she could. She grabbed the gun, and the man opened the door, and she fired. He screamed, and fell down, dead before he hit the ground. She hit him in the heart, and before I passed out, she was shooting him, repeatedly. I smiled, "Maybe she's doing that because he shot me," I say quietly, before she notices me and tries to keep me awake. "Noah! Noah! Stay with me!!!! I'll get help. Crap, they're may be more people!!! I don't know what to do!!! Noah!! NOOOOOOAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!" She screams, before even her voice fades to black.
