All I could hear, before the fluttering of wings overttok all sound, and vision, I heard her. I heard Emberley, screaming in terror. I tried to reach her, but their were to many....things. I din't know what to call them. They looked like angels, but it couldn't be. Angels come in visions, like for Joseph Smith. I was so confused, I never saw one of them run towards me, and put a rag around my eyes, and then I blacked out, after they put something in my mouth. Literally, the last thing I heard, which haunted me for years to come, was Emberley, somewhere near me, screaming, "Noah!!! You said you would protect me!!!" I wanted to tell her everyhting would be alright, that I would protect her, and no force on Earth could stop me, but I never had the chance. Later, I did, but not then. Not when she needed me the most. Ugh, getting ahead of myself again. I woke up to Emberley slapping my face. "Ow!" I said, putting my hand to my face, eyes still closed. "Noah!!! Wake up!!!" Emberley yelled in my ear. Now fully awake, my eyes open in a panic, and I give her a tight hug, and she returns it. I never want to let go, but after 5 minutes, I whisper to her, "We have tog et out of here," She nods, and gets up. "Take my hand, I've been awake longer, and this is the good side. The roque Nephilim. And they have some news for us. They wanted us both awake before they told us," She tells me. "Um...ok," I stammer, before taking her hand. She guides me down a hallway, and I see wings. I stop. And Emberley stops as well. "Noah, I know what you're thinking, the wings were pretty scary, but, I promise you, they won't hurt us," She says gently. "I-I-I can't!" I say, closing my eyes, trying to block out the memory. "Noah, I'm going to try something, and if I do, you have to come in," She tells me. "Ok, what is it?" I asked, still closing my eyes. "This," she whispers, as she gives me a peck on the lips. I immediately blush, and so does she, as I had opened my eyes. "Yeah...let's go," I manage out. I take her hand, and smile. As we enter the room, the Nephilim stand up, with no apparent leader. "Noah and Emberley, usually we do this at the age of 18, but you two are a special case. You two are apart of a prohpecy, and...you may hate me for this, but you two are...Nephilim," one of them said. "Nephilim? What's that?" I asked, feeling weird I my stomach. And Emberley grabbed hers in pain. "Ems!" I yell, through clenched teeth. "Stop! You cannot stop this process!" One of them yell at me. "Process? AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" I suddenly scream, in a voice not my own. "It is beginnning, now, you both have to control the power you both have. It is very powerful, and we've all survived the process. We believe in you Noah and Emberley. It's almost over. You're taking control of the Heavenly power within you," the same Nephilim told us. I suddenly felt....I can't even find a word for it. Or a feeling. I just know it happened. I saw someone. Someone beautiful. I wanted to know her name, but I blacked out before I could. Little did I know, I would be seeing her again. When I woke up, Emberley was with someone else. A boy. Our age. I started crying. So I packed up my stuff after they passed into the kitchen of the giant castle, but then I heard something, "Where do you think you're going?" A female voice asked. It was the beautiful girl from before. "Who wants to know?" I asked, wanting to know her name.
