Today is the day I start my new job . I am literally on cloud nine .
I woke up very early today ,brushed my teeth , shaved my long legs , and finally took a very relaxing bath . I would not go to my first day, all stressed up.
After picking my clothes for today and making sure they were very ironed , I proceeded to make breakfast for moi- même.

I am currently standing in front of the building, ready to go in .
"1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,.. well, it's now or never .."
I greeted the secretary and showed my ID , I learnt that her name was Cassandra yesterday, so far she is polite .
" Hi Cassandra . So am I to go and wait for Mr. Hendrix or someone will show me to my desk ?"
"Oh, Mr Hendrix, the Marketing manager, well his secretary will see you through and there you will clock your ID for the day . So the longer you stay here, the more you will be late ,dear. "
"Oh, ok !! thanks ." I start to run cause it's almost late . It's 6:54 !!
And it's on the last floor or last but one . I don't even remember!. Oh God why didn't I enter the fucking building earlier . I stood there for like and hour and a half!!!
I end up jogging, tying to catch the elevator .
Its about to close !
"WAIT!! HOLD IT '' I scream
A hand holds it . " Oh thank you , " I say there are like four men in here and they are staring at me like I am a freak . Well, why not ,I look terrible .
I start using the elevator mirror to fix myself . They are still staring, like I give a fuck . They are not my bosses so I don't care . I hope so .
"Do you work here? " the guy closest to me asks .
"Huh , em , Yes I started today . And I am already late " I try laughing at my embarrassment.
"Ohk . But you shouldn't really scream like that else you could be fired on your first day . The bosses don't really like noise . "
"Ohk, sure, thanks. I will keep that in mind next time ."
"Ehm ,sorry to be a bother, but do you know where the Marketing department is ? I forgot the location, "
I embarrassingly say .
I know I am pathetic, but at least I am beautiful ,so I make up for it, and people see me as those cute girls who can't do anything .
So, no harm done .
"Sure . I am also in that department. We are going in the same direction. I will take you . "
I nod my head and mutter a thanks .
After some silence and more people joining and leaving. I finish touching up and look presentable.
At this point, I am beyond late, and I am scared cause I don't want to be fired on my first day .
Even I would fire myself . I am that pathetic.
We reach our floor, and we get down .
"By the way, I am Tony Woods . "
" Oh, I am Katherine Jones , but you can call me Kat or Katy. Everyone calls me either one . "
"Oh sure . It's nice to meet you. "
"Same here . So can you tell me ,would I be fired today ?" I say
"Hahaha , I totally forgot that it's your first day. To answer your question, you most likely would."
"What !! Oh my God . I am finished . Can we run . " I take his hand and try to run. He stats to laugh as if I am some kind of comedian .
