A/N: Hi! This is a fanfiction on Fanfiction.net. It is more mature. This one is for younger and less mature audiences. I am the author of that one as well. My pen name: naomimalfoy1. DO NOT post this story on other websites. Thank you!
It was a dark room lit only by one torch in each corner. The walls were dark, even if there had been more light. There were lots of books. Each wall contained one bookcase, except for the wall opposite the door. That wall was not visible behind the shelves of books covering it. In front of the covered wall was a dark green velvet couch. Perpendicular to the couch, creating an "L" shape, was another love seat of the same color. In the space between the furniture, there was a dark wooden table with intricate designs.
That was where Hermione Granger woke up. On her back on the velvet couch.
The first thing she noticed besides the different scenery was that she was alone. Where were Harry and Ron? The forest? The tent? The books? Her beaded rainbow bag? Her wand?
She looked around frantically, but nothing familiar came to her line of sight. Eventually, she got a headache, and rested her head back on the armrest of the couch. She stared into the ceiling of the room nervously, thinking about where could possibly be and where the boys were.
The last thing she remembered was... being caught by Snatchers! She remembered hurling a few spells that may have killed a couple of them, and she remembered shooting Harry with a Stinging Hex. She recalled being grabbed by a Snatcher and her wand taken from her hand. That Snatcher must have her wand!
The one thing that couldn't come to mind was where the Snatchers had taken them. Three places immediately came to mind: Hogwarts, the Ministry, and wherever Voldemort's base was...
Well, she knew for a fact it couldn't be Hogwarts. She had been in every room of the school and none of them looked like the one she was in unless it was the Room of Requirement. But how could she require something from the room if she was asleep? Or unconscious? She didn't know of a room at the Ministry of Magic that looked like the one she was in either. No one knew where Voldemort's base was. Other than Death Eaters, of course. Members of the Order had been trying to track it down since Dumbledore's death, but the Death Eaters knew how to hide it well.
Before she could ponder the situation further, the door creaked open behind her. Hermione jumped and sat up. She turned to the intruder and saw that he (or she) had a hood over their head and their back against her. They were closing the door slowly and quietly, and Hermione saw them extract a wand from the front pocket of their black cloak, and heard them mumble a locking spell.
That made Hermione more nervous than she already was. This person could obviously perform magic, so she wasn't in the Muggle world. Was locking the door really necessary, though? Unless it was something vile? If it was a Death Eater or a Snatcher, she would surely run. She didn't have her wand, so she would fight physically if she had to.
A part of her told her that it was going to be okay. Other than a new stabbing pain in her left arm, she felt fresh. If it was a Death Eater or a Snatcher, she would surely be dead by now.
Hermione stood and got in a fighting position as the unknown person turned around. She couldn't see what they looked like, because their head was tilted towards the ground with their hood covering most of their face. Though the guest wasn't facing her, Hermione knew they were watching her. The stranger removed their left hand from their pocket, and used it to lower the hood. Hermione couldn't help but be completely shocked at what she saw.
Draco Malfoy stood before her. He ran his hand through his platinum hair, and narrowed his piercing grey eyes at her fighting stance. He put his wand back in his pocket and let out a relieved sigh.
