Sicarius stared at the book he'd been reading, not reading anymore now, his hazel eyes glued to the page. "I haven't been to the beach in decades," he murmured, staring at the scene in the book where the main character had gone to their home town which had been a small seaside town. "I haven't... I barely recall what it looks like."

He sighed softly and closed the book, not bothering to mark his page with a bookmark. He took his glasses off, resting them on his head as he rubbed his eyes, remnants of nostalgia induced tears present on his lashes. How odd it was to miss something he had never truly owned to begin with.
