Carter , is an only child. Her father married a very young women named Charlie. She was wonderful till her father passed, the summer of Carter's freshman year. That same year, Kyle, the schools rich boy grows fond of her, and her of him. They begin to date, and it all seems wonderful till, now. Junior year Kyle not only cheats on her with Abigail, the head cheerleader, but he also beats her, in front of the school.
