Liams POV after I call in work and Lilly's school I go grab a few things such as medicine a spoon a thermometer cool washcloth and some water.
Ok sweetie I need to take your temperature can you look at daddy for me I ask softly (whenever Lilly is sick she gets babied a lot by Liam her dad but she loves it)

Open up I instruct gently
She obliges and does as she's told and I slip it underneath her tongue then instruct her to close her mouth.
When the thermometer beeps I take it out of her mouth and read it.
You do have a fever love your gonna need to take a spoonful of cough syrup to get rid of the cough I'll give you some cold medicine later for the other symptoms that you have later I explain already measuring a spoonful of the cough syrup then bring it to her lips
Open up Lilly I coo it might taste bad for a few seconds but it will help I promise I tell her softly
She obediently opens her mouth accepting the medicine not without making a face after swallowing it down with water.
Good girl I praise her
Daddy I'm tired I wanna sleep she mumbles
Ok close your eyes and sleep then sweetie daddy loves you.
I love you too daddy she replies
A few days later Lilly is back to her normal self with my help of nursing her back to health from the last couple of recent days.
