My parents were also Assassins and their names are well-known in Japan. When I was in my mother's womb, they expected me to be born as a boy.

Their expectations was not meet so they have to train me twice as harder than their parents trained them.

At the age of four, I started my trainings. I grew up to be their Deadly weapon and I followed everything they wanted me to do.

I've killed more than a thousands of innocent people for them, I'd experienced so many near deaths because of them, I was almost caught many times just to save them.

And for what?

For nothing...

All I've ever wanted was to make them proud, but everytime they see me they always wished that I was born as a guy.

I was never enough for them, all I've achieved was rewarded by their merciless torture and words that will shatter my heart again and again.

When will I ever be good enough for them?

Never

As long as I'm a woman, they will never see me as their own child

Even if I disappear one day, they won't even look for me, they won't even care

I was named the 'Shadow' as I only kill at night. I made it look like I'm a man as this was what my parents wanted me to become, but it was a useless effort.

It was summer time when I returned home and my parents left me for good

Never looking back and asking me if I wanted to come with them

So I wondered off every night, killing more innocent people so it will go on the news and my parents will see what I've done and they'll come back for me

One night, I was walking alone by the street when I heard the sound of a dying cat.

I followed the sound and saw a cat who just got ran over and it was in a bad shape. I took my dagger out and was about to end its life when a voice stopped me.

"What are you doing?" I turned around and saw a blonde hair, dark brown eyed guy who was wearing white hoodie and white pants.

"The cat is dying so I'm helping it not suffer anymore." I replied and he walked towards the cat.

"I could still save his life." He commented and I rolled my eyes.

"Why save his life if it's already suffering from the pain? That's ridiculous." I was ready to end both of their life by saying nonsense stuff.

"It maybe ridiculous for you but why kill him if you know you can save his life?" He questioned and I was speechless at the moment.

Ever since I was a child, my beliefs had always been kill kill and kill.

Who does this guy thinks he is?

Saving a cat from dying? That makes no sense!

"Why make him suffer even more when you can end it right here right now!" I pointed my dagger towards the cat and he held it in a protective way.

"If you can't value a life, then I guess you don't have a life yourself." He stated and I was dumbfounded.

"Don't you know who I am?" I narrowed my eyes and he looked at me as if reading me behind my mask.

"Do I need to know who you are?" Was his response as he turned around and left.

He walked away just like that, I was wearing my Shadow clothing and he didn't even flinch when he saw me.

I am a well known killer here in Japan, when one sees what I was wearing they would be terrified in an instant but this blonde guy was different

Saving the cat's life was more important than saving his life.

He didn't acknowledge me as the Shadow, more like someone who just want to kill the cat

He didn't show any fear and looked me straight into my eyes. I know he recognize me but he didn't care

Just like that, I began to understand the meaning of life. Ever since that day, I stopped killing innocent people

I only targeted those who have bad motives and had done something bad for the Nation

I never saw the blonde guy again but I was glad because as long as I'm far away from him, his life won't be put in danger

He became my light when I was in the darkness

A shadow have one weakness and it's the light

He was my light

I recognized Hiro, he's the son of Ketong. The leader of the group that I've been avoiding in the Beach.

They're also group of Assassin, one of my parent's mortal enemy. Their group had been hunting down my father's group for years.

I almost got discovered by them but I managed to escape and live a normal life, that was when I after I met Chishiya.

Since they didn't know my identity, I lived as a normal person and tried to forget being a Shadow.

Although they discovered my whereabouts and my true gender but not my true identity.

After that I returned to being a Shadow as it is easier for me to move from one place to another. Until the game appeared and I was forced to join the others with my disguise.
