Lea Lim was always the girl with the romance novel at her fingertips; she always wanted to have a happy ending in life just like from every book she has read. In fact, there's a boy she can't get enough of named Blake Lopez. But, how can a shy girl be able to attract a nice, popular, and almost perfect boy like Blake Lopez After all, she's just average. But maybe when fate meddles in, there is a change but nobody knows what could happen. She just wishes to have Blake in her life.
I am peacefully sitting in the bleachers admiring the handsome Blake Lopez. The way his eyes shined and the way everything he does is perfect. He is sure the lucky guy having everything in life, a handsome perfect face, and having a well-off family. I suddenly come to my senses "I bet he doesn't even know who I am" she whispers. 'I am just an average girl and he is beyond my league I'm no match for him.' Well, I am just the plain old Lea Lim what to expect.
"Hey! I see how you look at him. You like him, don't you? Why won't tell him." I was cut off when my best friend, Clint suddenly in front of me. "What? no, I don't like him what are talking about I was just- "'You were just what Lea?" he cut me off again while laughing so hard. This boy is really annoying. "Can you just shut up I'm doing something here you're being noisy again." I shouted letting my anger out to him. "okay, easy" he said calming me down. Well to let you know he is my best friend Clint the annoying. We know each other for years now because my parents and his parents are both friends. I don't know why did I last long being friends with this guy he is so annoying.
After class, I immediately went to Clint's classroom why? Because we have an agreement to always go home together after class, were neighbors by the way. While walking in the corridor I stop by the side looking through the windows mesmerizing the beautiful view of our school, I hear birds singing through my ears and the wind softly brushing my hair, it is very relaxing. While mesmerizing the view I suddenly felt something beside me and I look at it I was shocked seeing Blake Lopez beside me, the great Blake Lopez. My body feels numb and can't move, my eyes were locked to his amazing face this is a great chance I am so lucky. I came to my senses when he suddenly started talking "is there something on my face?" he asked "uh no it fine, it's handsome" I cover my mouth for being too loud. He laughs, wait he laugh I made him laugh. "What a wonderful view," he said while looking straight "yes, it is really a nice view I didn't know we have this amazing view in our school," I replied
"I'm Blake, by the way, Blake Lopez, you are?" he introduces like I didn't know that he's famous. "Lea. Lea Lim". I replied swallowing fears. He smiles once again, to my surprise. He smiled again. is there something meaning to that smile, does he like me so he started talking to me? I can't believe it or I'm I dreaming or is he just joking around? I hope not.
"Lea!" I turned around to see who's calling me and it was Clint the great. "let's go" he said wrapping his arms around my shoulders. we started walking and when we reach the gate I punch him real hard "how could you interrupt in that moment you see me talking to him you're so annoying" I shouted "what's wrong with that is there something important you two are talking about?" he replied so confuse "you really like him?" he continued " what if I say yes, there nothing wrong with that right?" I confess "I don't know he has a girlfriend you didn't know?" he said. I was shocked I didn't know that "he has a girlfriend? but- "
"Yes Nina, his girlfriend, she is my classmate. I saw them together every time in our classroom holding hands therefore I conclude she is the girlfriend." he said making me dumbfound "let's go home our moms are waiting" he said grabbing my hand
As I finally got home I immediately go to my room and cry. I and he really doesn't match and I'm just assuming we are. Maybe he is just bored earlier waiting for his girlfriend so he talked to me and it doesn't mean anything so lea stop assuming. Maybe there are some things that really won't work as you want it or maybe I'm just ugly and not enough for him. That's why I and Blaze aren't meant, there is no happy ending for us like the happy ending I read in my favorite books but still, maybe Blake isn't the one for me well maybe my future boyfriend is just somewhere out there rooming around also looking for me and ready to accept who I am, just wait for the perfect timing and he will come and meet me. I wipe my tears and inhaled deeply and finally let out a smile on my face.
