So spiders don't like peppermint? One-shot tiiiiiiiime!

[nova POV]

I'm so bored. Spidey and I had gotten into an argument and scarlet had to break us up. Now me and Spidey are in private rooms. Basically time-out. I wish I could get my nova blasts aimed at Spidey and Scarlet for getting me in here. I grabbed a computer as soon as I was out and looked up things spiders hate, and struck gold.

I asked Spidey and Scarlet if they wanted to do some sparring and that agreed to do some in an hour or two. I flew to the store and switched aliases, becoming Sam Alexander. I walked in.

"Excuse me."

A worker nearby looked at me.

"Do you need something?"

"Do you have any peppermint oil?"

"Yes, aisle 5 bottom shelf."

"Thank you!"

"Why do you need it?"

"Just a prank for two of my friends, they got me in trouble yesterday."

"Ah, here is a coupon for some peppermint chocolate by the way!"

I smiled and took the coupon, just what I needed.

Sparring was fine, and as usual scarlet beat everyone. Honestly, how do you fight those stingers without getting sliced to pieces?

"Hey guys I have some chocolate!"

Spidey fell for it at once, gabbing the treat. Scarlet gave me a sus look and tentatively took one of the candies.

"Yum!" I exclaimed, munching one.

Spidey swallowed and suddenly straightened, coughing. Scarlet, who had only eaten a quarter of his, looked at the candy.

" *Cough* Peppermint?"

I smirked, "Yep?"

Spidey grabbed a water bottle and gulped down, then tossed the bottle to Scarlet.

"N-n-not, FUNNY!"

I laughed and flew away.

[a/n] honestly I can relate to this, I ate a brownie with hot sauce in it once in 7th grade (don't ask) and it was not fun. Bruh don't go eating hot sauce!
