Chapter 1
In front of me was.. A huge surge of power, almost bright enough to blind me. I squinted my eyes, and when I opened them up.. There was a sword in my hand?.. "What is happening?" I murmured to myself. "Why hello there!" Something popped up in front of me, "Erm, what are you?" I tilted my head. It looked like a tiny magical human, but it had wings. It floated around me "Heehee! That you dont need to know!" It answered, giggling. "Well then, whats your name and why are you here?" I questioned it quizically. "My names Jinx, and well, you see this huge thing behind you?" They pointed to the huge surge of power. "You need to defeat that!" Jinx pointed at me again. "W-what, me?" I answered. "Yep! Dont worry, theres something in it for you though!" They smiled. "Teehee, I cant tell you that yet!" Jinx giggled. "..Fine, what do I need to do?" I asked, noticing that the bright light had disappeared, revealing the night covering a ruined village. It seemed familiar, but the inhabitants were not human. They looked like blackout humans, their arms outstretched like zombies. "You need to help people with their problems! I'll be teleporting you to a town in the jungle soon." Jinx answered. "Be prepared, teleporting might make ya a little sick!" they laughed.
"Why do I need to help people with their problems?! Its called their problems for a reason." I mumbled, angry. "Thats not the right attitude, Orion." Jinx said, a hint of disappointment in their voice. "You'll go back home after, I promise you." they told me. "Ugh, whatever. Just teleport me now, fairy looking thing." I rolled my eyes. "H-hey! I told you my name!" Jinx said embarrassed. "Ill teleport you now."
