G.A.P chap. 1

Guardian Angel Project Chapter one~

Nash's pov

I pondered what the Captin could want with me while I walked the short distance from my appartment to the elevator.

I mean technically speacking no one was allowed to know the identinty of the Captin in case some one was a spy and reported

it back to the goverment but since I was the one who put him in the position after my father died it's kind of obvious that

I would know who he is. But still he usually calls me to avoid people getting suspicious. It must be bad news, he only calls

me up when he knows it's bad and that i'm gonna yell at him. The elevator "ding" interupted my thinking and signaled that I

was on his floor. I knocked on the door three times before just walking in, rude I know but I'm not exactly know around here

for my kindness.

"ahh Nash I thought that you might not come." He said my name nickname effectionetly and I gave him a smile. Nate or known to

others by Captin had known me since we were kids. We always played together outside and he was there for me when ever I needed

someone. He was good looking I suppose being at the taller end of six foot and being lean and well muscled, but he was like my

brother and I could never feel attracted to him in that way.

"It's not really like I had a choice.When the almighty Captin calls I must answer." I responded jokingly and put an emphisis on

captin because i knew he hated it and thought that every one should be treated equally even the person in charge. "So get to the point

and tell me what the bad news is."

"Who said there was bad news? Can't I just want to see you?" The tone of his voice was sarcastic and i raised my eyebrow at him

before chuckling lowly under my breath and shaking my head no.

'ahh well you see um..you are being taken out of your team and being assigned to a human." he said it quickly and under his breath

but I heard. Oh boy did I hear. And 3...2...1

"Are you INSANE? My team needs me!!!! Who the hell is the freaking human that is so important that your taking me away from my team???"

I was seething, he wasn't allowed to take me from my team. It had never been done before! we needed each other- His loud sigh interupted

my thoughts.

"I know, I know. But i need you to watch him. He's important and i think you two would get along great." Magnificent he was taking me

away from my team so i could meet a new guy and and become friends.

Still seething i muttered,"Your an idiot" and stormed out of the room slamming the door behind me.I knew that he would text me the

details of where to meet this guy and everything later so i stormed to my room and started packing. If he was important enough for Nate to take me

away from my team them we would have to go even more off the grid than i normally am. damn this would bring nothing but trouble I knew it. My phone

buzzed and i looked at the message.

I know ur pissed but his name is Luke and you'll be meeting him @ 9 @ the cats eye...

That was it, no sorry for ruining your life or explanation just details. like always if we weren't face to face he went into his cold hearted

Captin mode. The Cats Eye...hmm i haven't been to that club since I picked a guy a couple missions ago who worked there. Funny how even

though supers and humans were at war life went on. Kids went to school, adults went to work, and us project members blend in until it's time

to strike. The government thinks we're hiding in the mountains, but they'll have no idea how many of us there are until we pop up in towns all

over the world.

I finished packing my bags and hopped in the shower. After I had finished shaving and scrubbing myself down i got out and got

dressed in a black satin dress that went just above my knees and had an open back. I put on make-up and fixed my hair so it covered

my blind eye then found some heels to where. When i was finished getting ready I looked at the clock to see that it read alomost 8:30.

Damn, I grabbed my bags and ran out the door shoving them into my black porsche and driving to the club.

I left the windows slightly down so I could feel the caress of the nights cool air while I was driving.By the time I arrived

I had managed to calm down some. If this is what Captin needs me to do then I'll do it. I pulled into the parking lot and saw that it

was over flowed with people. I pulled out my fake I.D. and headed to the front door to wait in line....this is gonna be a long night.

Luke's Pov

I was sitting inside of the Cat's Eye club waiting for me new partner to get here. I knew that she would be less than thrilled to be

here because Captin told me he pulled her from her team. Why would he do that? I mean yeah I know that I am crucial to them if they want to win

and make supers and humans have peace but still. From what I've heard teams are best friends and don't take well to having to leave members behind.

I was told that she is very fiesty and that she would be wearing a black dress and heels. The thing Captin said would give her away was her black

and green hair and green eyes.

I watched the crowd around me smile and dance. How can they be so ignorant? People are dying every day and humans walk around like

there's not a problem in the world. Idiots, Ignorance is bliss. Just wait until the real war breaks out, maybe they might act interested.A group

of squeling girls ran through the door and onto the dance floor. I caught a glimpse of green streaked hair and stood up and walked over to her.

I looked at her dress to double check it was her before tapping her on the shoulder. She turned around and looked me up and down before raising

an eyebrow at me. Her voice was smooth and soft as she asked,

"Can i help you?" Jeez she was gorgeous. Her hair was short but long enough to go past her shoulders and covered half of her face.

Her body was well toned but curvy in all the right places and i instantly felt drawn to her. Damn.

"Hey I'm Luke you must be Nash." Smoot genius smooth. Her eyes hardened a little bit but she had a small smile on her face as she grabbed

my hand and led me outside. Stopping at a black porsche.

"Alright here's how it works if you have any bags we pick them up. After that I have two brand new I.D.'s and we'll go off radar

until I know why the hell your so important and why Captin thinks...." she trailed off and I just nodded I knew what she was saying. Why Captin

stuck her with me and why he thinks I need her. But I do because this Captain guy was right. Nash is my Soulmate. And after he dies we will

lead the supers and humans into a time of peace or so says the prophecy. She was still waiting for my answer and looking at me. Damn I

can't finish the soulmate bond until we're alone, and not until she knows me. Captin warned me about that, but damn my wolf is begging me to

just finish the bond now. All i would have to do is look into her eyes and then we would be connected, but she wasn't ready I could tell

that. She's closed off but I will get her to come out of her she'll.
