*pffft pffffft*

I woke with a start and looked at the clock.

10:32

Shit.

i'd missed the first two periods of school.

*puuuuuuuuuuuft*

only one truck makes that sound.

fuck.

I throw myself out of bed and flew to the closet. I shut it quickly, leaving a tiny crack open.

*click*

the door was pushed open, followed by loud, lazy steps of steel toed boots marching up the hallway. Within seconds I saw my father's worn out face in the doorway of my bedroom. He had shaggy black hair and a thick black mastache. His wrinkles were far more defined then they had looked yesturday, and his once sparkling eyes were grey and stormed over. He took a quick look around my room then stormed out of the house.

The school must have called him and told him I wasn't there. He probably came to see if I was still home...man, I'm so getting it tonight.

As soon as I heard him drive away, I threw on my ripped black jeans, my white Never Shout Never shirt, a black beanie, and my old white converse. I grabbed my black messenger bag and walked out to my grey Volvo.

When I pulled up to the school it was about 11:30. There was only 15 minutes left in my third period class so I wouldn't even bother going.

I spun my standard black and silver locking my tall blue locker, until it open with a click. I pulled the metal door back to reveal...almost nothing. Unlike my classmates, who have their lockers decorated with white boards, pencil holders, locker shelfs, pictures of their friends, mine was empty except for 4 binders and 4 textbooks, and a wallet with lunch money in it. Why you ask? Because that's pointless. What's the need to decorate something you use to store your stuff when you're not needing it...you know, maybe I'm just jealous...Jealous that they have those things, including friends, which I don't have...if they only knew how lucky they are...

I grabbed my wallet and slammed the door with a bang, clipping the lock shut. Who needs friends? All they do is backstab you anyways...I'm better off alone.

As I made my way down the hall to the cafeteria the bell rang announcing the end of third period and the beginning of lunch. The students piled out of the classrooms, some giving me the weirdest looks. Nothing different here.

If only I knew how different things were about to get...
