When I was in the ninth grade, I thought I knew nothing of the world. I was not one of those teens who thought, "I have it all figured out". On the contrary, I thought, "I know nothing nor will I ever know anything". A thirteen year old, with zero hope, sounds average and expected. You should learn to expect the unexpected. Its unexceptional people that often turn into hero's. At 14 I became..exceptional. One year changed my life. Pain like I'd never imagined carved my heart and sculpted my mind. I can't say I feel good about the choices I made to get here, but I do feel confident in the ones I'm making for my future. I wonder....could any old unexpectedly sour boy, still sweep me off my feet? Because love is what did it, love is what transformed my world..for better, or worse.
