Life can get pretty complicated if you have friends in different countries. Especially when your other friends live on the other side of the world and you barely get to see them. For me half of my friends live in America and the other half lives in Germany. People are always asking me where I prefer living, but honestly in the meantime I usually don't really care. I mean after moving only once you will always have something you miss, but have in the other city. But then there are these times when all I want is to be in the other country. It has happened a lot lately that I just wanted to be in Germany, because of all the drama there is with my friends. Then I think about it and after that usually I'm glad I'm in America, but other times I still just want to be in Germany, I miss the snow and the actual cold winter there. I miss the Italian ice cream and all the freedom you have there. After school me and my friends would just randomly decide we want to go shopping or something and we would just take our bikes to the train station and just take the train downtown or to the mall. It was so much fun. And of course what I miss most are my friends there. All the fun we've had at the lake in the summer, shopping and just fun in general, but then as soon as I'm in Germany I miss everything here. For example the fact that clothing here is usually cheaper and the warm weather and of course mostly my friends here. You get so torn between here and there. It's really hard, but then you're just grateful for the adventures you've had and what you've done in your life. Especially as a child. There are so many adults out there that haven't ever been out of the state in their entire life and you've traveled to so many places in just, in my case, 13 years. If you think about it, it's unbelievable. And even though moving brings a lit of sadness, it also brings a lot of happiness and new adventures.
