Hi, welcome!

I'm so glad you're here.

2026 EDIT AND DISCLAIMER (preemptive):

Hi! If you're here in the big year of 2026, welcome. This book was written years upon years ago when I was very young, very influenced by a lot of outer factors, and contains dark themes that I definitely have my regrets about. I've gone through the initial mania of this book getting decently popular which was wonderful at the time, but also meant that I had to deal with the burnout forced upon me by the hate comments, the negativity, and the people picking apart something that I once wrote for fun!

Trust me—I am equally as embarrassed by this book (the writing, the pacing, the ups and downs in plot, the unnecessary dark themes that don't translate well, the characters) but rather than take it down, I've tried to remove myself from it entirely. Don't pick up this book and expect something incredible or feel like you've been jilted when sometimes the writing is rough or the characters make lame decisions. I was young and trying my hand at writing. If you don't like it, don't read it.

It makes little me sad to see all of the hate. I try to be very nice to her these days.

I understand so many people love rivrry's story so I'm not going to take it away simply because of my present reservations. I just hope that you will give me the same sort of grace when considering this—because honestly, I started writing as a teenager and now I'm a woman in her mid 20s with a degree (in finance, mind you) and a full time job! Of course I'm gonna hate it just a lil bit </3

Also, if you've been following along with my twitter/announcements, you'll know I feel weird about using Harry's name in this book as I wrote it a long time ago and now that I'm an adult, it feels a bit strange/uncomfortable for me as he's a real person and this book is quite explicit. Especially with all of the shows/movies still being made about him. Considering I'm actively trying to continue the sequel, I'd asked how everyone would feel if I changed his name but ultimately decided to keep it in the end (I don't even picture him as Harry in my head anymore hahah). That being said, I just wanted to clarify that he is SOLELY A FACE CLAIM. I do not associate him with this book in anyway possible.

Anyway, thanks for being here and on board with my mental turmoil regarding this. I love you. You're my favourite.

Remember to be kind! Xo

Mature themes/Content warning:

This book contains talks/mentions of drugs, violence, explicit sexual themes, vulgar language, and includes discussions of mental health. (Also, yes. I get it. Harry swears a lot. Comically so. As do I. I'm Canadian. Get overrrrr ittttttt.)

As like I did with Introspective Strangers, I will try my best to flag any potentially triggering topics at the beginning of every chapter and, in those instances, will also provide a chapter summary. If there is a chapter in particular that you find especially hard/triggering to read that doesn't have a summary on it — please shoot me a message and I can draft one up for you. My Wattpad notifications don't always work but if you reach out to me on twitter (petitcerise) or post on my message board, I'll get back to you as soon as possible. :)

Thank you for being here. I really appreciate it. :)

VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED - READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION.

Any likeness or comparisons made about these characters to their real-life counterparts aside from how they look is purely coincidental/not intentional.
