The beautiful cocktail-blue shade was beginning to darken into gravel-grey. Large pillows of cloud were forming, blotting out the old-gold colour of the sun.
The skies were overcast and the dark clouds were suppressing the dignified atmosphere of the Palace. The formerly magnificent palace hall was shrouded by the clouds, as if it was a huge cage, trapping the people inside firmly.
The soft lights from the hanging lanterns illuminated the corridor. A cold breeze brushed past Haneul. There were goosebumps on the back of her neck. She didn't move from her spot. She merely looked out into the dark garden.
" Jeon, you know I've been lately getting the feeling of drowning myself in the river..." murmured Haneul with sorrow in her voice as tears began streaming down her face like rain drops. her heart raced as her chest tightened; a sound roared through her as it looked like black clouds pressed their way into her vision.
Jungkook felt a sharp pain in his chest. Every breath felt like a thousand steel needles fiercely stabbing at his heart, so painful that he tightly frowned. He couldn't stand the way Haneul was hurt...hurt as she felt betrayed.
"Jeo-Jeon" was the last thing she whispered as she blacked out in his arms.
"My Queen" a Frustrated scream was heard through the other side of the hallway, there came the king running as if the time had stopped for a minute. seeing Haneul faint suddenly was out of the blue. Jungkook was shaking, not being able to understand what just happened before his eyes.
