On a cold December morning, a Blue Jay peeked its head out its nest. Little Blue Jay lived with his Momma in a hollow tree. Momma loved little Blue Jay. But little Blue Jay didnt love himself.

"Momma, why am I so blue?"

"Momma, why am I so ugly?"

"Momma, I dont like how I look."

Continuously, little Blue Jay would ask both himself and his mother the same questions over and over again. One day, Momma decided to take little Blue Jay out for a fly. They visited the glittery lake that shined upon all throughout the forest. They visited the mushroom biome, where the reddest of mushrooms grew. They even visited the flower field, where every color of the rainbow existed. In each biome they visited, different critters came out to play. The red millipede, the muddy green toad, even the silly yellow salamander. Every color was beautiful. Momma and little Blue Jay watched the sky as the sun set. Colors were everywhere! As the sun entered its slumber in orange and yellow rays, the moon came out to play with the stars in every shade! Beautiful colors were everywhere.

"Momma, why did you take me out to see the forest today?"

"Well little Blue Jay, I wanted to teach you that every color is beautiful. Whether your a red Cardinal, a brown Chipmunk, or even the brightest Blue Jay, you matter. There is no such thing as an ugly color, all you need to do is shine in your owns ways! No matter what color you are, you'll always be my little Blue Jay."

"Oh Momma, I see now. Every color is beautiful! I am beautiful and always will be. May we have dinner now? I am starving from todays adventure!"

"Of course little Blue Jay."

The End.
