Chapter 8 |Hayes|

Nash's POV

I woke up startled I must have fallen asleep, I looked at my phone, 3:16 Hayes is just getting done with school

I looked around for Heidi she must have gone home

I put on my sweatpants and went downstairs I ran my fingers threw my hair and looked out the window to see a car pull up and Hayes got out of it

I opened the door "Hayes what the hell why are you driving?" I said

"Dad said I could" he said and gave me the keys as he walked inside

I swear I have to babysit this kid

I sat on the couch and texted Heidi

Me: Hey beautiful

I waited for a reply

Heidi: hey..

Me: what's wrong?

Heidi: my mom found out about me ditching school...and also throwing hot nacho cheese at a girl

Me: what she do?

Heidi: she's yelling at me right now but she will get over it

Heidi's POV

I listened to my mother yelling at me and just waited for her to stop

She finally left my room and I sighed and layed down on my bed

I spent the last 30 minutes on the phone with my dad I miss him but I like staying with my mom she understands me better

"Bye dad love you" I said and hung up

I went downstairs and texted Nash

Me: Hey wanna go to the mall?

Nash: Yeah I'll come pick you up

I went upstairs and grabbed my purse and saw Nash's car pull up in the driveway and ran downstairs

"Mom I'm going to the mall I'll be back in a couple of hours" I yelled and left

We walked around in the mall for awhile and decided to grab some food at the food court

We sat down and talked for awhile

I saw Nash looking behind me and squinting his eyes, I quickly looked behind me and saw Talia then I saw someone that looked like Hayes

"Is that Hayes" I said

"Yeah, what the hell is he doing with a high school girl" he said and got up I followed him as he walked towards Hayes

"Hey Heidi!" Talia said to me

"Uh hi?" I said and looked at Hayes then at her

Hayes just looked down didn't make eye contact with Nash or me

Talia locked hands with Hayes and smiled

"Are you guys dating?" Nash said

"Yes!!" Talia said then kissed Hayes on the cheek

"Oh god" I said

"What? Wait are you and Nash dating?" Talia asked me and glared at Nash

"Yes" I said

I saw hayes get a little tensed up then looked at Talia

"Nash I thought u still liked me!" She said and got mad

Seriously right now is this really happening, I just glared at her

"Hayes come on were leaving" Nash said

He started walking with us towards the door when Talia grabbed Hayes arm

"Wait what about me?!" She said

"Were over!" Hayes yelled causing everyone to stare

Talia looked at everyone and screams in frustration

Oh lord this girl is annoying

We kept on walking to the car Nash started yelling at Hayes for dating a way older girl than him and that there parents are gonna get mad when they find out

I just sat there until they stopped

As we pulled into Nash's driveway at his dad's house Hayes finally said he was sorry then just went inside

Me and Nash waited in the car for a couple of seconds

"I'm sorry about him" Nash said and looked at me

"It's okay" I said

We got out of the car and went inside, Nash looked around for his parents but they weren't there just a note on the counter

Nash and Hayes

Me and your step mother will be gone for dinner here's $20 order pizza I do expect change back but we will be back before 8:00 or so

"Sweet" Nash said and called dominos to order pizza

While he was doing that I decided to check on Hayes, I went up to his room and knocked on the door

"Who is it?" Hayes said

"It's Heidi" I said

"Come in" he said as I walked in and closed the door behind me

He was sitting up on his bed staring at the ground

"Hayes, are you okay?" I said and sat next to him

"No, every single girl I date always wants Nash and not me, it's always been like that everyone's always favored Nash" He said and didn't make eye contact with me

"Hayes it's okay especially with that girl she doesn't deserve you she will probably be a prostitute when she gets older" I said

He laughed a little

"But even the girl I like is probably in love with my brother" he said

"We'll is she his age just like Talia?" I asked

"Yeah but age is just a number it shouldn't matter" Hayes said

"Heidi!" Nash yelled for my name

"I gotta go" I got up and opened the door

"Heidi wait!" Hayes said, he got up and hugged me

He was the same exact height as me, ugh I feel so short for my age

"You know that girl that is in love with Nash that I told u about....that girl is you" Hayes said

The words shocked me as I just left his room slowly, I walked down to the kitchen where Nash was and he looked up from his phone at me

"Hey where were u?" He asked

"Oh I was just talking to hayes about Talia" I said I regretted not telling him about it but I didn't wanna cause drama between them

I just slowly sat down on the couch next to him and cuddled right up to him

We cuddled and he played with my hair as we watched tv

I wasn't paying attention though I was just thinking of all the things that are gonna happen with Hayes
