Chapter 4

Abby

I don't know how much longer I can do this...

I gave up being chancellor when Clarke never came back. I didn't want to think she's dead but that's most likely the case. Hell, she's been gone for the last couple years and no ones found a single trace of her.

The only thing we've found were scattered bodies and none of them were her which gave some relief but what we all wanted to know was who's doing it. Who is killing all these people?

Wiping my tears I heard a call come in through the radio.

"Abby? Abby are you there"

Oh, it was Octavia for what I'm assuming another update about Polis.

Getting up I grab the radio, taking a breath before speaking.

"Yeah, I'm here"

The radio was silent for a moment before Octavia started to speak again.

"I have really good news but also kind of bad news" She sounded worried but happy at the same time making me nervous. What could it possibly be?

"What is it Octavia"

"It's Clarke..." I took a breath. Is she alive?

"W-what about her" I had tears threatening to fall waiting for her to speak.

"Clarke's alive and and she's in Polis but..she's different. I mean two years is a long time but I mean she's different, different."

I-I didn't know what to say. My baby she's...she's alive.

I let out a sob and clutched the radio, hearing someone come in.

"Abby...are you okay?" Octavia asked and I took another breath looking up at Kane.

"I-is she okay?" I asked shakily and Kane looked at me with confusion.

"Clarke's okay but..."

Kane looked at me with wide eyes.

"Clarke's alive?" He asked and I nodded.

"Abby I don't mean to offend you or anything but Clarke's a little crazy"

"What do you mean Octavia?" Kane asked sitting down next to me. I looked at Kane and his eyebrows were furrowed, handing him the radio.

"Oh hey Kane"

I didn't know what to say...

I got up from the bed and went outside to the Rover and got in.

"Abby what are you doing"

Glancing back to where the voices came from it was Bellamy and Raven.

"Going to see my daughter" I whispered and their eyes opened wide in shock.

"S-she's alive?" Raven asked and Bellamy just stood there in shock. I nod and close the door.

"Wait..we're coming with you and don't say no either" Raven crosses her arms before climbing in, Bellamy coming in shortly after her.

Once we're in I started the rover and left the camp, driving through the trail in the woods.

It was a quite ride until Bellamy spoke.

"How do you know that she's alive? I've looked everywhere and found no trace of her.." I glanced at him and started taping my hand on the wheel.

"Octavia radioed and said Clarke was there." I sigh and he looked at his hands and started fiddling with them.
