“Ready all supplies” The Radius reported. The robot was built by the remaining scientists, meaning to have a machine to teach their children while they kept the city, Volcona, alive. “Leaving for: Museum in: 4 minutes. Myrr rolled his eyes. Stupid Radius. “When’s lunch?!.” Piped up one boy. “Statement incorrect”. Radius replied in a monotone voice. Everyone giggled.”Not funny” continued the robot. “Get into: Anthrobus.” The robot sighed, which, because it was programed, sounded more like a snort. More laughing. Another minor scolding. The bus started to move. It sped through the lava-encased roads, until it arrived at a big white dome. “Depart from: Anthrobus” The Radius reported as we disembarked from the bus. As the class walked they saw all of the (mostly wrecked) stuff. Metal scraps, wires, lots of stuff. The class reached a desk. “Right this way.” spat a wiry, rat-like man. The class followed him to a room, where they dropped their stuff. The man pointed them into groups. The leader of Myrr’s group looked kinder, comforting him. They walked out into an unfogiving, steel hallway. They walked until, sometime later, they reached a large dome, full of exibits. The group passed wires , tables, and sheets of metal, but none really caught Myrr’s eye,. Until he saw it. “..........And over here, we have the Metal Archway. It is very advanced technology, no one can figure it out” Said the kind man. “It is some kind of portal, but it doesn’t work”. Everyone moved along, except for Myrr. He stood at the rim of the enclosure, made of Velvet-covered wires. Myrr looked both ways, then jumped a wire.He could feel a pull, an urge, to walk through it. And so he did, And found himself taking a jarring fall into oblivion.
Myrr blinked his eyes open, pushing himself up to his elbows with a grunt. Before him was a set of golden gates. a figure in a pure white cloak stood in front of him, a hood pulled over it’s head. It seemed to have a tail and wings, but Myrr guessed he was just hallucinating. “Welcome” it cooed in a feminine voice. “ to Vevo” And she reached out and touched Myrr, and this time more gently, he fell into darkness.
Myrr woke again. His surroundings were much less soft than before. He opened his eyes and saw faces looking down at him. He sat up with a start, feeling a sharp pull from below him. He looked down, and saw a grey tail beneath him. he guessed he was sitting on some animal’s tail, and thought that was odd, because this looked like a scientific lab. He turned around, to see nothing except air. He looked down his back, and saw where his tailbone normally stopped, the start of a big, grey, fuzzy, tail. He let out yell, putting his hands on his head, only to find what felt like...... Ears? Myrr suddenly realised that all of the worried-looking scientists around him had some sort of ears or tails as well. “what’s happening?” He thought, and blacked out.
Myrr blinked his eyes open for the last time, Finding himself on a cloud-like bed, a Feline face looking down at him. “O-Oh” She stuttered. “Y-Your awake”. “Where am I?” Myrr groaned. “I-I mean Y-Your at R-Ruby M-Mansion” She stuttered. “I-I’m Fellina. Y-you can call me Fell.” she looked kind enough, but very shy.
“Do you live here?’. “I-I’m just the maid”. “Where is this?” Myrr yawned. “I’m probably just in the infirmary sector” Myrr thought. “You’re in Decorenum” She whispered. “in Vevo”. Myrr gaped. “Vevo?!”
