'It's not her fault, that's just how Author-nim wrote her... She's not a terrible person, she just wants to be loved...' She thought to herself. She was one of the few people who didn't hate Jenette. Not everybody in the fandom hated her, but most did. It wasn't that she liked Jennette by any means...It was nothing but a feeling of pity.

'She should just kill herself'

'Fuck her, she should go and die'

'Her obliviousness and naiveness make her annoying as fuck.'

A girl destined to make everybody around her gets hurt due to her aura of black magic. It wasn't by choice, but Jenette was born with it. A daughter of a power-hungry whore who cheated on the Emperor for his elder brother, and the child of a tyrant. Born into a family that would use her as a pawn to play the part of a 'lovely princess', not knowing she was just a puppet. Not knowing she was the cause of all the misfortune surrounding the Princess, Athanasia. Not knowing whether her wishes were selfish...

'Why can't people understand...' She thought to herself once more.

Min Song was her name. A girl who was brilliant, shy, independent, but wishing to be able to help people more than anything. Sacrificing her wants and needs just to make others happy, making sure everything was perfect, that was who she was. Not knowing if she was too harsh on herself, but worrying if she hurt others. She would stand up for the people who couldn't themselves.

So with that in mind, Min typed and replied to one of the hate comments.

'You shouldn't just blindly hate Jennette because of something she can't control.'

Click, sent. Min kept pondering her endless thoughts. Jenette was never told her thinking was wrong, so instead, she thought it was right. Feeling a small sense of accomplishment, Min set her phone down as she got ready to lay in bed for the night. Suddenly, she heard a small 'ding' coming from her phone.

Picking it up to check, she saw an unread message. Bracing herself for a harsh reply for pushing her own opinion on a hater, she was surprised to see that it was not what she was expecting. Instead, it was something far more confusing...

'It's hard to find people like you."

'I wonder what that's supposed to mean?' Clicking to see the profile of the one who had sent it, she looked at the search results. 'How odd...' The profile didn't seem to exist. 'But they just sent me a message..." Her curiosity waned as her sudden drowsiness took over her thoughts. Quickly making it to her bed, she flopped down like a pillow and passed out from the sudden wave of sleepiness. Embracing her pillow, she thought her last thought of the night. 'Why...am I so...sleepy?'

Min Song was an insomniac.

This will probably be the shortest chapter of this story, hehe. Thank you for taking the time to read the first chapter of 'Suddenly Became Jennette One Day'! I hope you continue to read it as well! I began to write this because I always pitied Jennette in the actual webcomic. I didn't really like her, but she didn't deserve to be hated. I also know that almost all the fanfics that include Jennette portray her as the antagonist, so you can't really not hate her in those. This will be dedicated to portraying Jennette as a lovely character!
