Attack of Colby Brock

Part 20

-Riley's POV-
I woke up to the low sound of screaming and laughing. I think it was Kat but I was to tired to be fully sure. I grabbed my phone with my somewhat shaky hand for some weird reason. But I ignored that and looked at the time. It was 1:00pm! God damn! What the fuck? Why did I sleep so late? I immediately got up and dressed. I picked out a gray and black tye-dye shirt and some light denim ripped jeans. I also put my hair in a ponytail as I normally do. Then I finally went downstairs to see what the fuck was happening.

-Jake's POV-
We we're getting ready to go out to eat when I noticed Riley standing at the bottom of the stairs. "What's going on?" She asked with a smile on her face. "Um we're going eat if u wanna come." I said even though I honestly didn't want her to come. I just wanted it to be the original group. Plus I don't want her and Colby to start flirting again. "Ya sure!" She said running over to the door where us trap boys, Kat and Brennen were.

-Colby's POV-
I stood in the back of our little group next to Sam. When I saw Riley standing on the stairs I immediately smiled. I couldn't help it, I looked down so no one could see me. But I think Sam caught a glance of me. I covered my mouth with the side of my sweaty hand and pretended to clear my throat. After that I somehow managed to keep a straight face. Even though I was staring into the eyes of the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I then watched as she was approaching me. It felt like slow motion. I'm normally confident in these situations, what's happening? I'm all sweaty and nervous. Riley looked at me and smiled. She started running over with her hand out for a high five. So I put my hand up as I watched her jump out of excitement and slap her hand against mine. Just watching Riley walk makes me happy. I love everything she does. I want h- "Alright everyone ready!?" Brennan shouted out snapping me out of the trance I was in. "Yeah!" Everyone shouted in response. I felt a nudge on my arm as we were about to walk out. It was Riley. She had a small grin on her face. It made me smile a little. "Oh no...what is it?" I said jokingly as she had a mysterious look on her cute little face. "Omg! Nothing geez. I was just gonna say how this is a load of shit." She said laughing as we all walked out in a group. Laughing too I said, "in what way is this 'a load of shit'?". "Well first, I typically don't like people so being in a group of seven other people isn't ideal. Second, we're going eat out to "bond" which is pretty lame when u could stay home and play stupid card games that make you laugh until your pissing yourself. So ya." Riley said making me and herself giggle. "Ok well I do agree with all of that, but I'm pretty insulted to be honest." I said scoffing and pretending to be mad. She nudged me on the arm again and said, "I make exceptions for some people. My favorites." Then she starred at me with a straight face. She gave me butterflies. As we waited outside for everyone to stop talking I put my arm around her and held her close to me.

-Riley's POV-
I felt so safe and loved in Colby's arms. I wasn't even nervous. It felt so right.
•35 minutes later
After a long and uncomfortable car ride we made it to the restaurant, Tokyo. I had never really liked sushi that much but I like Colby so it's worth it to be here. "Alright let's go in and wait for the rest of our people." Corey said as it was only Jake, Colby, Corey and I in Jake's car. Kat, Sam and Brennan went in Sams car. We all got out and walked inside. We quickly took our seats and waited for the others. I sat next to my boring brother and across from Colby. Suddenly I had a great idea. Two words, Spit Ball. I looked at Colby with a determined look and he looked back at me like I was crazy. I quickly grabbed a tiny piece of a napkin and put it in my mouth to create the spit ball. It was kinda gross but it'll be hilarious! I grabbed my straw and shot it out. Maybe this was a bad idea but I don't care. I watched as my disgusting wad of spit and napkin flew out and hit Colby right in the middle of his forehead! I busted out laughing so hard! He looked at me with a annoyed look saying, "seriously?". Then he couldn't help but laugh since I was cracking up. Then my brother looked at me and we both had the same idea. We both quickly reached for a piece of napkin practically racing. Eventually my brother of course had his nasty spit ball ready before mine and it smacked me dead in my left cheek! It was disgusting. Of course all the boys were laughing but so was I. Then after 5 more minutes of laughing the others arrived. We all sat at a huge table that the workers had made with two small tables. Brennan sat next to me. Ugh. Of course he wanted to sit next to me, weirdo. Everyone started to chat and laugh, meanwhile I sat back and watched everyone do so. I grabbed my phone out my pocket and went to messages to text Colby who looked bored.

-Riley's POV-

-Riley's POV-
I put my phone down on the table with a smile and suddenly felt a tap on my shoe. I looked up and saw Colby slouched. I then looked under the table and saw Colby's shoe on top of mine. I looked back up and Colby had a cute little smirk on his face. I smiled back and looked down. In the corner of my eye I could see our feet touching and it was adorable. He's the cutest person I've ever met.
•20 minutes later
I was quiet during this whole thing. I felt awkward being here and sitting next to Brennan. Once everyone was finishing up there food Brennan turned and looked at me with a creepy smile. I could tell he was planning something or had some intentions by this "smile". But I just put a fake smile on my face to be somewhat polite. Next thing you know he's putting his hand on my thigh and rubbing it. I looked down at his hand immediately with confusion. He ignored me and looked straight at his friends to make it seem like he wasn't doing anything. Of course everyone was clueless. Here I am, again suffering in the silence. But honestly am I surprised? No. He came and sat by me first thing! But I managed to stay calm and wait it out. It wasn't much longer, I could do this.
