"A promise doesn't need to be kept if the other is dead"
Promises mean a lot. If you make a promise, it must not be broken unless you wish to break trust.
There are ones who break trust a lot. For fun, for entertainment, to feel alive.
There are others who don't break anything, never lie or are untrustworthy.
And there are the ones who try. Try not to do these things but it's not always easy.
I was never one who wanted to try.

"What's up Tadashi! You want some anchovies for that pizza face?"
"Man, your suck a wimpy little dork!"
The boys push me on the floor, holding their backpacks. My hands scrape across the dirt flooring and a small dust cloud forms from underneath me.
"If you don't like it then you better toughen up! Why don't you carry our stuff?"
He threw his black bag on my face, sending pain signals down my spine. My eyes glossed over and soon started to well up. How much longer could I take this?
"Dude he's crying!"
"That guy cries over everything."
They laugh together as tears stream down my face.
The one holding a stick, the one who threw his bag at me, is the one doing most of the talking.
"Hahaha! Crybaby!"
suddenly my attention is drawn to someone else. A tall, blonde boy wearing a purple hoodie with a moon on it.
"Huh? What are you looking at?"
The one with black hair and the stick turns around to face him.
"I think he's older than us."
Another one chimes in.
"Nah, he's in class three."
The blonde smirks and hums.
"That's so lame."

I never wanted to try, unless it was for him.
You know how one insignificant situation, or memory, or person can make you re-think everything? How something so small can make you want to change? That was Tsukki. Though it took too long to finally become his friend, let alone get to know the guy, he was something that kept me going. Kept me feeling alive.
We became close, and after awhile he was all I could think about. All I could hear, all I could see, all that and more. The day I realized I had feelings for him was just like any other. It was chilly but warm in his room, and everything he said made me smile.
I had kissed his cheek. His brother lectured me about how we were too young for that kind of stuff. We were eleven.
The day he realized he had feelings for me was unlike any other. He took me out for lunch, though he was acting strange. It was warm, but the restaurant was chilly and everything he said made me confused.
He kissed me on the lips. I couldn't speak for an hour afterwords. We were seventeen.
Things turned back to normal after that, he made me smile, he made me laugh, though now I could do the same. We were happy together, though I can't say I was ever really happy.
