Surprise

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing. It was Nate. It was 8:30. I press Answer. Hellooo? He said on the other line. Haha Good Morning Nate. Good Morning Kira. Wanna do something today? Sure like what? Its a Surprise. A Surprise I wonder where it is. I say to myself. Meet me at the park around 10:30 ish. Okay cya then Nate. Okay I can't wait! Haha bye. Bye Kira.

I hang up then I stood up and stretched and yawned then walked downstairs to go eat. I skip down the stairs and started humming I grabbed Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I ate and thought to myself. What will the Eracassam Circus be like? I took the tickets out of my wallet and looked at them. It was so plain. It just had words. And two colors Red and Yellow. I put them back and finished up. I put my bowl in the sink then I went downstairs to take a shower.

I walk into my room and decided to look nice for where ever Nate was taking me. I put on a white tank top with my red plaid shirt and my aeropostal skinny jeans with black flats. I curled my hair and put on my eye makeup then I put on fragrance then my lucky necklace.

I grab $20 and my strap over bag. I told my mom good bye and ill be back in a while. I go out the door and then I start to walk twords Nestern. I don't see Nate there yet I was early 10:15 ill just sit on the bench and read my book.

I wake up with a smile on my face. I'm so glad its morning. I check the time its 8:25. Ima call Kira I thought to myself. I dial her number and then press call. She Answeared after the 3rd ring. Hellooo? Haha Good Morning Nate. Good Morning Kira. Wanna do something today? Sure like what? Its a Surprise. Meet me at the park around 10:30 ish. Okay cya then Nate. Okay I can't wait! She hung up then I smile I ruffle my curly hair then I go to the bathroom to look at myself and wash my face. I stare in the mirror. Then I walk downstairs to eat. Good Morning my mother sang then kissed my cheek.

My big Brother Bry rolls his eyes then puts his arm around me then ruffles my hair and then whispers. Heard ya talking to your Girlfriend. I looked at him and gave him a death glare. She's not my Girlfriend! Crap I'm blushing. Ooh lil bro is blushing you like her don't you. Maybe. Maybe not. I said as I was eating eggs. He punched my shoulder then walked away into the living room to hog the tv. I finish then I run upstairs to take a shower.

I get dried off then get dressed ima wear something nice today. I pick out a Blue plaid shirt then my favorite Hollister jeans and put on my Nike shoes. I comb my hair then ruffle it then I walk out with $50 and a couple of Pennies. I smile then I say good bye to my mom and Bry gives me a wink and a grin. I roll my eyes and walk out the door. 10:15. I was early but I get to walk. So I don't stink for a beautiful girl like Kira.

I can't wait to see her.

As I read I felt like someone was watching me. I turn around and see nothing. I continue my book then I saw someome walk behind me. I turn around to see no one there. I return to my book then I see someone sitting next to me. He was humming and I recognized him from somewhere. He was looking down. He seemed to be holding something In his hand. Then it hits me. It was the man in the tux yesterday. He had his hat and everything.

Hello? I said. He doesn't move a muscle he's just stareing down. He didn't say anything either. I reached my hand to touch his shoulder when he turns and grabs my hand. He was holding onto my hand tightly leaving finger bruises on my palms I try to get him to let go. His head was still down. Let go of me please! I said. His head rises a little bit and his eyes were red and he had a grin with dangerously sharp teeth. He laughs a demon like laugh deep and scratchy.

Kira? I turn my head to see Nate walking towards me with worry in his eyes. I turn back to expect to see the man but he was gone. My hand was back on my book with bruises on my palms. I was holding something I open to see it was a folded piece of paper. The one the man was holding.

I shove it in my book then I put it in my bag so Nate doesn't see. He walkes over in front of me and kneels down so he was the same hight as me. I was stareing down. Then I look up to meet his eyes. Are you okay Kira? I look back down and say. I-I think so. Come on lets get out of here he says picking me up with my wrists gently.

Your hand! He says in shock. I pulled it away. Ill be fine I promise giving him a small smile. He puts his arm around me and I cross my arms and we started to walk. I look down at my feet. I start to tear up. Do you want to talk about it? Nate asks looking at me. No. I whipe away my tears then continue walking he lets go of me then stepped in front of me. He grabs my chin then slowly lifts up my head so I would meet eyes with him.

I look away but he still talks to me. You know we are best friends. You can trust me. I will believe anything you say. Will you please tell me what happened to I can help? I look into his warm brown eyes. His mouth flew open in astonishment. Your eyes are so...beautiful and blue! I smiled and blushed.

Thank you Nate. Yes, I will tell you but not right now. Now snap out of it! I snapped my fingers in front of his eyes then he blinked a couple of times. Sorry. Your just really pretty. We both blush. He put his arm around me then we continued our walk.

You know we kind of look like twins today. He said breaking the silence. I turned to him then I looked at him up then down. Sure enough we did. He just had a different color of shirt and different shoes but boys don't wear flats.

We stopped at the rail road tracks in the middle of town. I looked at him confused. Have you ever smashed a penny? No. I've always wanted too tho. He smiled and took out two pennies we both put one on the track then he stepped on the track and he seemed to be listening.

We heard a train's horn blow in the distance. He turned around with a large smile on his face showing his braces. I smile back then he grabs my hand and pulls me across and then we sat down in the grass. We waited and waited then finally the train was comming and it wasn't far. We saw it and it finally rolled in front of us.

I loved it so much. Seeing a train so close that I could touch it, was amazing. I heard Nate counting the carts on the train I joined him and finally hafter like 30 minutes there were 200 carts. It drifted away and we both got up.

Nate walked twords the pennies. A big smile formed on his face. He looked at me then jogged towards me. He handed me a penny and my mouth flew open when I saw are pennies were both shaped like hearts. I looked at him and I gave him a hug. This was a suprise all of this was a suprise.

I looked at him and said. You are my best friend that I will never give up on. He smiled and hugged me. Me too he whispered into my ear. I thought that you were taking me somewhere I might as well bring you somewhere. Thank you for this I put my penny in my pocket same as he did. Hungry? He asks. Yes I'm starving. Good because I'm buying us pizza. He winked at me. No No not me I brought money for myself, you pay for yourself. No I insist to buy you lunch. Please? He said all of that with a puppy face that I could not say no too. Fine! He pirks up and puts a big smile on his face. My lady. He says while holding out his arm so I could cuff my arm with his. Then we walked to the pizza place.
